Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning IL family.

Today - this morning I am going to the ortho doc for my 2nd shot in the knee.  I brought a washcloth to hold on my mouth so in case I scream, it won't be so loud to scare the other patients.

Another night of not sleeping well. I was up just after midnight and spent the rest of the night on the recliner.

I sure hope this second shot reduces the pain so I can sleep in my bed. It's been over 2 months now. I sure miss sleeping on my side.

Wishing everyone a safe and healthy Wednesday.

Hugs,
Lucy

Hello everyone

I am sooo tired.  I woke this morning at 4:30 and I just want to go back to sleep.  It would be so nice if I won the lottery and I could sleep in.  Ahhhh...that would be so nice.  No more 11 hour days.

I think the weather will be nice enough today that I am going to start my walking/workout regimine.  Yesterday, just looked like it was going to rain all day.  I would love to buy o treadmill.  But who has an extra 300-500 dollars laying around...not me.

Lucy-  I really hope that s******actly what you need to feel better.

Well I have nothing going on today but work so I will see you all tomorrow, same place, same time.  Have nice day.

Hi Crystal. Ah, to sleep in - sounds heavenly!

Enjoy your walk before the rain. We had a misting here already.

Thanks for the well wishes.

Good Morning Lucy and EV1.

Lucy, I really hope you get some releif from pain today.

Crystal, I much prefer just walking then using the treadmill. Its not as boring.

Continuation of my shoe shopping saga. I went to the only real shoestore in Ottawa yesterday, The cheapest shoes they had were over $100. Also tryed the The shoe Box and Walmart. I coulkdn't find a pair that fit. Crystal, me too. I wear between an 11 and 12. I will try Payless and the mall after work today.

Heading out the door. Need to get to work.

Stay safe and happy today.

Hugs,

LISA

Lisa, try BA Mason shoes out of Chippewa Falls, WI. http://www.bamason.com/home.jsp for mail order.

Dave uses them exclusively as he has a short fat foot. I like their shoes also as my arch has flattened from being MO and now wear a 10.

Hi Lisa. Thanks for the wishes of relief!

Good luck with your shoe shopping! I love to shop but not now. I can't believe shoes can be so expensive.

Have a great day.

Hugs,
Lucy

Good Morning to all my IL friends!!

I have been MIA lately and it's my own fault.  I am struggling with a lot of things and am having a hard time with life right now.  I have regained 7 pounds, which ticks me off, but I am back on track now so that will stop!

I am switching schools and will be starting at Everest College on Oct 19th and in 8 months be a Certified Medical Assistant.  I am excited about it, but also nervous.  I will be attending classes 4 days a week at 5 hours a day for 7 months and then the last month is 40 hours a week in a medical setting.

I have some decisions to make about my life and this is the first step for me...

I have missed you all and hope to be around  more.  I can see that I need this support from my wonderful OH IL friends!

Monica

Glad to hear that you have got your education on track.  8 months will pass quickly and you can begin a new era.
Good luck!

I too have had some ups and downs lately and my weigh seems to be where all my stress goes. I have been on a up and down with the weigh since June. I am trying to stay on the recommended amounts of protein but the junk food is to tempting when stress is the reason for eating. I go to the store with a list and come out with what I call grand kid snacks for after school, right its Karen comfort food and I keep making excuses, Well now I have confessed my secret now maybe I can fix it!
They say confession is good for the soul, we will see.

Good luck on the school change. Not long left for you and I think you will do great!
