Good Morning Illinois.

There is rain forcasted for later, so if you are not working this morning, take yourself outside and enjoy the day. This is the first day of fall, so make the most of it.

I am going to  work this morning, then to look for some shoes. I need a pair of brown heels, and a pair of black shoes for work. We will see how long it takes me to find them.

Whats on your agenda today?

Stay safe.

Hugs,
 LISA

Hello everyone

I have nothing going on today but wor, work and more work.  Ahhhhhg...I will be here till 5pm.  I want to be home.

Well I did it I officially registered to walk for the March of Dimes in April.  That will give me time to work my way up to 6.5 miles.  This will be a big incentive for me to work out.  Me and two of my friends are going to be walking.

Lisa-  I hate shoe shopping because the only place that carries my size (size 12) is Payless and there is just no selection.

Well it's officially Fall.  I love Fall...it's my favorite season.

Have a wonderful day.

Good morning Lisa, Crystal and IL family.

It's a full working day for me. LOL. I have two meetings this afternoon so I can't leave early.

I had a great time with Val on Sunday. She showed me some resistance band exercises and treated me to a band as well. I am indeed blessed to have her in my life!

Tomorrow's my ortho doc appointment and time for shot # 2. I'm hoping and praying that this one helps me more. I have some parts of the day that it seems a bit better. Last night though, I had a hard time sleeping, so up in the chair for part of the night. Good thing I got myself dressed already, as I woke up after 5 and had to split out of the house quickly!

Good luck with shoe shopping Lisa.

Crystal, congrats on signing up for the 6.5 mi walk next spring. I'm sure you're up for the challenge.

Dawn, praying that you get your answers and relief soon.

Paul, how goes it?

Randy, what's new my friend??

Anyone hear from Pam S? I sure miss her.

Happy Fall everyone, although it will be like summer.

Hugs,
Lucy

I have found that weather has a great influence on my pain.  Yesterday was a horrible day for me.  Hope today is better for both of us!

Hi Nancy.

Actually yesterday during the day was good for me. Last night and today is horrible.

I'm hoping for tomorrow after the painful shot to see a bit more relief.

Hope you're doing better.

Hugs,
Lucy

Good morning everybody!

Today I have to call in to tech support to get a script fixed, I have to go through some red tape to start building some thing for our conversion at work... It's a full day of work for me also. I am very much looking forward to my 3 weeks off after surgery!

I scheduled my pre surgical testing yesterday so next Monday I have my upper GI, xray and labs.

Tuesdays are our gymnastics days for my son. He has been asking to go to "the gym" since Friday so he is really excited. (he's only 2 so its really cute too).

That is about it for me. I hope you all have a wonderful day. :)

Good Morning Illinois!

Not much going on today.  I'll do more wood turning and watch the kids.  Nic is home today since he wasn't feeling real good.  Just sniffles and a sore tummy, but I kept him home just to be sure.  I spent yesterday building a web site for the wood working stuff.  It will be at www.woodartbypaul.com once the domain registration goes through.  I'm really hoping to sell lots of stuff for the holidays.  I've been very tense about not having a job and money in general.  It's scary changing careers without solid prospects.  In other news, the party for October 17th is definitely on!!!  I figure to have everybody over at 1pm and we can do it potluck style.  I will do the pulled pork and other assorted yummies.  Please PM me with what you want to bring and for details!  I will do a separate post as we get nearer the date.

Have a great day!

Goog morning everyone.

I continue to take it easy and recover after the 6 day hosp stay last week.

I have home health nurses coming 2x a day to pack and repack the open wound.... the more its done the faster it heals they say.

Havent been near a scale since sunday and am stressing.  I usually weigh 2x a day  morning and bedtime.

I am gonna continue laying low and relaxing... My wife is off work today and will be spending the day with me; that will be nice.  she has been a warrior through this whole experience.

Hope everyone enjoy's their day...

I don't normally check in here but I figured I would this morning between running back and forth to the bathroom. I lost my job this morning when I called in due to being ill from my Endoscopy yesterday.

I'm so very weak and lethargic I don't even feel up to climbing two flights of stairs to crawl into bed. I think I'll just curl up on the couch.
