Dietician

Hi, I have a consult with Dr. Oliphant and the dietician Nov. 9 and I am currently on the Il. state medical card and was just informed that they no longer pay for the dietician and was wondering how much it was going to cost?  Do I meet with him/her more than once?

I have not yet met with the dietician so I don't know how many appointments are required but I would suggest calling Dr. Oliphant's office and ask what the procedure is. That is the only way to find out. Worse case scenario is that they tell you it depends on your needs. Like I mentioned in the message to you earlier, I will let you know anything I learn regarding the dietician after my consult with Dr. Oliphant on Monday.  Good Luck!

Yes, I did call and they told me that it is $70.00 for every 15 minutes and the 1st initial consult is 1 hr so it would be $280 and if I need to be seen again then it is same price but only for 30 min. Thank you and I would also like to know how your appt. goes on Monday. Good Luck!!
