As for me I took the kiddeos to the library for story time and they enjoyed it. We went to visit my grandma after that. Just gave the dog a bath and myself an unoffical one considering I got SOAKED bathing him! Kidds are resting now and I got a chance to come on real quick. Well chat later!

I worked this morning and now I'm home pulling out the fall decor. I just love this time of year. Calvin will be home late this evening after being gone for seven weeks. I can't wait for him to be home. I'm just cleaning, getting things ready for our trip. We leave for NC on Saturday morning. Good times.

Hi all!
Kind of late in the day here but I was just so busy today. I called the surgeon's office yesterday because I was having such a hard time with the shakes. I asked them to clarify what exactly im supposed to be doing, cause I couldnt imagine only just the powder mix. They told me that I can mix in fruit and skim milk and oatmeal or almonds and WOW what a difference that makes! This morning I had vanilla powder with blueberries and almonds, lunch I had chocolate powder with strawberries, dinner im having chocolate powder again with strawberries and some pineapple AND to top it all off i've been satisfied all day! This is not as bad as I thought and Im starting to think that post op a shake or smothie a day may be a good idea.
I started to fill out the paper work for my FMLA today and on the 30th when I meet with the surgeon I will ask him to fill out his part..then I should be ready to go! Wow this seems to be goin

Busy day today, and unfortunately, I spent the day in a total fog. I'm just about off to bed and hoping that tomorrow I actually wake up, because we're headed to north central Wisconsin to look at a boat for sale - if it's what the seller says it is, we'll come home with a chrome yellow sport boat cuddy cabin - and then sell the 12 year old fish n ski!
I did get my paper confirmation that I'm approved for the surgery today - but since I got the phone call yesterday, it was a bit anticlimatic.
