Tuesday Roll Call

Thanks for the desert. We like most anything.  Except Fish my kids and hubby won't eat it.  I like to use a lot of leaner meats, pork loin, ground turkey, chicken, veggies.  Recieps of the day would be AWESOME, what are your favorite sites to use ?

Paul, I am sorry your first post went in the bit bucket.  It seems you are getting up early again.  When will you be finished with school?

Dr. V did not talk to the chief yesterday so I am still in limbo.

Crystal, will your sister be charged for beating him up?

Dawn, rides are something I look forward to as well.  Last time I was down to 330 I was able to ride a small ferris wheel in Kemah.  Then I gained again.  Even in the three hundreds I could get out and work out a bit with my work at that time.  The owner of the business offered to buy me a gym membership if I would quit doing that and stay in the office.  I prefered work that actually accomplished something besides the good for my body.

Lucy, I hope your knee gives you some respite.

I see people go back to work and then you kinda disappear.  Please report in occasionally so we know you are still living.
I do feel blessed to still be living.
I have lost weight and gained it back so many times.
I am five pounds lighter today than yesterday 439.

No my sister won't be charged.  The cops are very much on my sister's side.  It's true when they say cops have no mercy for child molesters.

Tomorrow is the ortho doc appointment. If he doesn't do something, it's time for a new doc.

Can't sleep in bed at all. I'm very depressed and crying all the time, having to leave work early.

Hope you get an answer soon with your WLS approval. Congrats on the weight loss.

Paul , how did the Art fair go?  
Randy, I keep praying for you. 
Well on Sat. I took my Mom to the informational mtg, and ending up talking for the first time.  I hadn't planned on it , but Viv and Susie asked. Wow! 
Had to go and talk to school yesterday. There is a bully on my daughter's bus. So I had to Mom up and go talk to someone. She got in trouble for hitting the kid after he kicked her in the crotch! I would have hit him too!  So had to go tell the school what else is happening on the bus. After I talked with the kids on the block I learned he has  been picking on all the girls. 
I'm still looking for work. Have a couple of interviews for Case Manager in area. 
And last... Had a WOW moment. My daughter put her arms around my waist today and clasped her hands together. She said " Mom I could never do this before" Best Hug EVER!!!

Thanks for asking Katie!  The art fair went well.  It was a little slower than the ones coming up in October and November are expected to be.  But my sales were good and I met a bunch of nice people.  If this fair was an indicator of things to come,  The Christmas season should be fruitful.  I ordered some more stuff to stock up for the season and I'm hoping to make enough to cover my holiday gifts and bills!   

Good afternoon Paul and the rest of Illinois!

I am back at work after my Dr. visit this morning.  I have now officially been "reamed" in every hospital in Rockford.  This surgeon said that he could fix his part at the same time as the other doctor fixes one of the other issues.  After I got back here, the referring doctor called me and explained his plan in a way I could understand and THIS time, he consulted his notes first!  He seemed to know what he was talking about and had a fair treatment plan.  I thanked him and told him that I WILL be seeking another opinion in Madison.  He said that he is all for that idea.

I have an appointment NEXT Friday (25th) in Madison with the head of the Gynecology Dept for the university.  I will see what he says and then make my decision.  Either way, I should have plenty of time to have something done before November 1st.

Glad to hear that the party is on and that the art fair went well.  I'm sure your stuff is really great as I know that you have a very artistic side.  I have not heard anything from the woman about the mystery dinner that is supposed to be October 17th, so maybe I WILL be able to come?  We will see.

The weather is wonderful as Summer has finally decided to visit us.  I am enjoying this very much.

I am thinking of all of you who are having issues and wishing nothing but the best for you all.
