Good morning my friends!

In about an hour I will be on my way back home. I am so sad as I don't want to leave my grandsons even though we have been here longer than originally planned. It has been a long extra couple of days with the wake and funeral.

On a lighter note, it looks like it is going to be warm at home.
I can't wait to go pick up Bella from my neighbor.I miss the little one. Hopefully my neighbor will give her back to me.

Not much else on my agenda except 8 hours of driving in the car and a trip to Walgreens to pick up prescriptions.

No matter what your plans are today, keep safe!
Will check in again later.

Good morning Carol and IL family!

Carol, hope you have a safe trip hone. I'm sure that Bella will be happy to see you. Yes, it''s going to be a warm day. Too bad the pools have closed for the season. Sorry to hear about your loss!

I got my ortho doc appointment on Wednesday. If I don't get that shot - the synthetic synovial fluid one. I'm going to another doctor. Enough severe pain for over 7 weeks now. PT was a waste of time and money. Just had more pain instead. Can't sleep in bed more than 2 hours. Leaving work early, etc.... No one should be in such pain. I had sent in my patient satisfaction comments to the office or should I say dissatisfaction. The pain is so bad it's hard to drive. I was crying while in physical therapy yesterday.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Dawn, I am so sorry to hear that you didn't get your answers and some timeline to take care of your health issues.

Randy, any update on your PCP selection??

Paul, hope your showing goes well today and that you're less sore. Happy Belated Anniversary.

Lisa, well I know that you are doing well. Keep up with it.

Wishing everyone a nice weekend.

Hugs,
Lucy

At this time Dr V is saying another doc at UIC is doing open RNY and he is seeing if Dr. Elli will see me.  That was Thursday and Dr. V did not return my call yesterday.

The PCP search is slow.  The data should be in the Kane center files but apparently they do not know how to mine it.  From Alexian all I can get is docs who take BCBSIL HMO but then I have to call and see if they refer for GB as some do not and if they refer to Kane.  The people who answer the phones seldom know the answers to those questions and suprisingly if you get to talk to the referal person they are not real sure either.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

Good Morning Carol and the rest of my Illinois friends:
Well I am cleaning and getting appetizers made for my Lia Sophia Party.  As far as I know I have 2 people coming (woohoo).

Didn't sleep much last night, I am watching my dads dog and he decided he wanted to play all night.  Since my dogs sleep with us and he sleeps with us, I had to get up and go sit in the living room with him while he ran around the house like a crazy dog so my husband can get some sleep.

Paul good luck with your art show today, I would come up there if I didn't have this party today.  Let us know when the next one is I would love to come up and see your work.

Carol, be careful coming home.

Well got to go, cleaning and cooking awaits.

Have a great day everyone

Good Morning Illinois,

Carol, have a safe trip home. It is so sad to lose a grandparent, especially with the Grands are so young. I know your daughter-in-law will keep the memory of her Mother alive.

Lucy, my dear friend. I hope you can get some relief with your pain. Have you tried a pain specialist yet?

Sheri, I hope your party goes well today.

I brought our DGD home from Bloomington with me last night. I don't know yet if she will stay to tomorrow are not. She has a Rainbow Girl affair tonight, near me that her parents will be attending with her.

BTW, I did get the results of the Holter Moniter yesterday. Nothing bad was found. It looked  normal.

I am making dinner for everyone tonight. Not sure yet what it will be.  I will be walking downtown today, they are having sidewalk sales. I will probly do more looking then buying, but its fun to go to.

I hope everyone has a great Saturday. It s suppose to be great.

Stay Safe.

Hugs, LISA

Hi Lisa-made it home safely. I'm sure my dil will help keep the memory of her mother for the boys. I know that last night Ian and I talked about "gramma Debbie". I told him the she was loved by a lot of people and he just smiled.

Good Morning Illinois,

Today we are going to a party and wedding vow renewal for some friends in Belevidere.  Tomorrow we are off to the Sandwich County Fair for the Demolition derby which my husband is running a compact car in.  Wish us luck if he wins that means MONEY, and we could use it.  Have a great weekend All!

Good morning everyone!

Sheri - I hope your party goes well.

Paul - Have a great show.

So my dear daughter found a stray kitten yesterday.  She is like Dr. Doolittle - always bringing something home.  Unfortunately, about a 1/2 hour after bringing it in the house (without my knowledge) she discovered it has fleas. Needless to say - little kitty went straight out to the garage. Then,  I was up until 3 am spot treating my animals, spraying the house and dusting all carpets, furniture, etc.  I've never had an animal with fleas so I am totally freaked out and  have lots of psychosomatic itching!!!

The kitten is clearly used to people - it makes you wonder what kind of person would toss a little guy like that out into the big world alone.

If anyone is looking for a kitten - I have a sweet one for free!!!

Anyway - hope everyone has a great day!
