Just a quick fly by then off to work.  Hope everything is good with everyone today.  One more day and then the weekend.  Although it was a short week, it was a long week. 

Hope everyone has some good plans this weekend and enjoys the nice weather.

Good Morning Sheri and Everyone..

It looks to be a beautiful day and weekend. Can you believe? It is already the 2nd weekend of September. Small changes are already happening, as we go toward fall. I have seen some leaves falling as well as changeing leaves. Plus, everything summer is on sale.

I have a 9:20  Dr. appointment today, to get the results of the Holter Moniter test from 2 weeks ago. Also need to pick up the house, so we can go to Bloomington this afternoon,

Crystal, I hope you were able to sleep last night. Also, I hope your sister and neice are  able to relax abit.

Hello everyone

Thanks Sheri.  Everyone has been very kind.  The ******* is out on bail.  Can you believe his family bailed him out.   Well the investigaion is moving forward.  The detective asked my sister to talk to her ex-boyfriend and they would tape the conversations.  They want to see if she can get him to talk about any details on tape.  My sister said she would do it.  I have to say although it is slow going they are really going after him.  The states attorney wants to nail him .
My sister isn't being charged for anything.  But she really beat on him good.  I guess his face is swollen and coverd in bruises and his nose is broke.  I'm just so angry at him I wish he was hurt worse.

We are trying to keep everything as normal as possible.  Last night we all went to my nephew's football game and went out to celebrate the 20-0 victory.  I did sleep a bit better.  I'm so glad it's Friday.   

Hopefully he will end up in prison for a very long time.  

 

Good morning Illinois!

Today is my 5th anniversary and I must say that I am more in love with Liz now than ever before.  We plan to go to dinner tonight and enjoy each other's company.  Nic will be at his other home, but Meredith will join into the festivities.  This weekend is an arts and crafts fair at Harper College in Palatine.  If you are in the area, this is a great show.  As always, I will discount 10% to any of my friends here on OH.  I'm continuing to heal steadily and other than a bit of soreness, things are progressing well.  I'm still a little bound up, but that is controllable.   Today I am going to try and rearrange the garage a little to accommodate my new wood working equipment but other than that, it is a peaceful day.

Good morning Sheri and the rest of Illinois!

I am remembering that today, the weather is very similar to how it was 8 years ago.  Everyone take a moment today to remember the loss of 9/11.  I am very grateful that I did not lose anyone close to me that day, although we did know people that were close to the towers.

Work for a little bit this morning, then a 10:15 appointment for the results of all the medical testing and hopefully, the solution.  Then, back to work for a bit and home to gather the children and our bags and off to Gurnee for the next two nights.  That is, if the kids don't make me mad about being irresponsible.  If they can't be grateful and responsible, Todd and I will go alone and spend two nights together in a hotel.  (The hotel is non-refundable.)  This actually sounds like more fun to me, but we will see.......

Paul and Liz....CONGRATULATIONS!!!!  Have a great evening celebrating that love and enjoy each other.

Hello Illinois!

This is my second post to roll call.

I am looking forward to a crazy day with work. I have a meeting with about 15 colleagues which is always a great time for sharing and networking. We are meeting at a vineyard so it will be fun. We will work in a tour and a little taste testing.

Tonight I have a work awards banquet. I am not looking forward to that but I need to be there to support our local award winner. I know it will be fine once I get there but going is the worst part.

I attended my first support group last night. That was interesting. There were more folks there than I thought would be. Many were there getting their three meeting requirement in for the surgeon but it was still good.

Crystal your right it is a shame that his family posted his bail, he should sit in there and rot.

Full weekend ahead for us, Saturday we have a party to attend in Belevidere, and Sunday my husband is running his compact demolition derby car at the Sandwich County Fair!  Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

My DH and I will be at the fair again on Sunday also. We are going out for early morning mass then to spend the day again. We did not get enough when we were there on Wednesday.

Nope, Itasca. It is an annual trek for us to go to the fair. This is the first year that we are going twice.
