Good Morning Everyone, My lil Sarah started 4 year old preschool today and will be done at 11:15 .  She was so excited I will post Pics soon! As for me I have been doing ok.  Still have good restriction but often find myself wanting to snack just out of old habit, has anyone else felt this way?  I try not to or to preoccoupy myself with other things to do, but sometimes I give into the devil "temptation"!  When I do I make the snacks small. I am usually not even hungry when I do this!  My next fill is next Monday.  Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning Crystal and Illinois!

I could eat in the morning in the earlier stages, but now I have difficulties in the morning even after drinking hot coffee. We all have to find what works for us.

We were supposed to be on our way home today.  My daughter-in-laws mother passed away yesterday so we are now staying for the wake and funeral. Had to do laundry today as we did not bring enough clothes to stay for an extended period of time. Oh well, such is life. My heart aches for her and her family.

Keeping you all in my prayers.

 Hello all,
Made it through first Dinner mtg last night . My friends hadn't seen me for a month and were shocked!  I've dropped 5 dress sizes since the last time they saw me.  I did well eating and couldn't join them in a glass of wine, but I was fine.  Didn't feel like finding out if I would dump on sugar yet , so left the desserts alone ( except for 2 bites of mini chocolate moose, first chocolate in 8 weeks , yummmm)
Still looking for a job, wish someone would call from Centegra!
Have a great day everyone!

Same days it doesn't pay to chew the restraints off...

Good afternoon everyone,

I finally have some time to post when it isnt midnite.

Lots going on her as always.  Noah was assessed for a partial hospitalization program last week and qualified.  This meant that he went to the behavioral hospital during the day and came home at night and on the weekends.  They work on school work along with alot of behavior issues.  Well he went Thursday and Friday of last week and then his behavior escatlated over the weekend and he was admitted back to the Scott Nolan Center for inpatient care.  I also had a meeting with St. Raymonds where he goes to school, and they told me of many issues he already has in 5th grade and that he is not doing well there either.  He has always been able to hold it together at school and now he cant hold it together there either.  Oh MY!  He really is a mess.  Now I am investigating and arranging for him to enroll in the public school in our district so that he can receive more services through the school system.  I am really sad that he has to leave St. Raymonds and his friends, but hopefully he can remain friends with some of them outside of school.  He will also be able to make new friends too I suppose.  Wow, this has really been a hard few weeks with him.

We are still fighting financially so I guess cutting out tuition payments will be a help in a way.  Maybe when I get him settled in the new school I can try to find a part time home health position since he will be bussed to an from school.

My dad started his radiation/chemo combo today.  Please say a prayer for him that he tolerates his treatments as best as he can.  I am worried about him as my uncle says he has started searching out hospice services.  It is not time for that and I hope he is not giving up already.  He was looking at hospice in Nursing homes, I dont know why he thinks that is even going to happen.  I would never put him in a nursing home, he can stay at home and we will take care of him there.  It is hard to talk to him about all of this, cause sometimes he just wants to do it his way.  Please keep us in your prayers for this hard time ahead.

My weight is doing ok.  I had put on a few pounds with all this stress and now I have lost some and am down a pound from the start of the school yr.  So I suppose that is good.  Im just trying to make it thru the day lately.

Congrats to all who have surgeries coming up soon and I hope that those waiting for approval get theirs soon.

I am glad that summer is really over and fall is starting.  I love the fall and for some reason it makes me happy to see all the leaves falling and the beautiful colors and decorate the house with all the fall things.  I am really looking forward to Paul's party to see you all again!

I hope everyone has a great day and I will try to be a better checker-inner!

Hi everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying the short week!

Things are going well for me in the recovery process.  I feel great and have lost 15 lbs.  Best of all - no more acid reflux!

Still no luck on the job search - but I have faith something will come along soon.

Have a terrific day!
