Tuesday Roll Call
Good Morning,It is Tuesday, back to work time for most of us. I
hope you all had a good weekend.
Dee. I hope you are feeling better.
Not much on my agenda today. Just working and then coming home and taking a walk. Maybe getting a few things done around the house, and working on either a quilt or a rug a bit.Both things keep the hands occupied and food out of the mouth.
I need to get to work early each day this week. We will be super busy.

Good morning all! Today is milk day since yesterday was a holiday. Meredith and I will go to Des Plaines and pick up our milk for the next two weeks. Then tonight will be the start of a new class at school. Other than that, not much going on. I need to pack up some clothing from earlier in the year. I've shrunk down to a size 34 (originally a 42!) and now where a medium shirt (originally an XXL!). I'll either donate the clothing to the garage sale pile or give it to the support group clothing sale at Centegra. Some of it only was worn a few times. I'm finding out that I'm really a clothes hog! But at least I always find nice things in the clearance sales. Have a nice day everybody!

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
I am back at work this morning after what felt like a very long weekend.
We went to an annual party on Saturday and had a great time singing karaoke and dancing. David even sang a song by himself!
Sunday, we relaxed and had a fire in the backyard in the evening.
Yesterday, we attended an ash spreading ceremony for our friend that was murdered in February. When we came home to a cook out with our neighbors and friends that had used our driveway for the 2nd Annual Labor Day Lawn Tractor Pulls. We were sorry to miss the festivities, but some things are more important. We were early to bed and up and at 'em this morning!
I have an appointment on Friday to get the results of all my medical testing and to find out what the plan is for repair.
We are also thinking of taking the kids to Great America this coming weekend since we did not get it done over Labor Day.
I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for Randy to get his surgery straightened out and happy to see the Stephanie got a date! Hopefully, the others waiting for approvals and dates will hear something this week.

I thank everyone for their prayers and thoughts toward getting my surgery on track.
It was frustrating this weekend not being able to call the folks and try to get it going. This morning though I am like the fighting dogs you see the dog whisperer lay on their back and rub their stomachs. Not having that burden is comfortable to me this morning. I really cannot afford to relax as I am now though as it leads to laxness with food and to weight gain.
Well, I am off to play Mafia Wars, check face book and then it will be back to calling and waiting but I am afraid my energy for it is drained.

Cleaned out closet and have 5 bags of clothes and still going.
Sat had best and worst day so far. Found out I now wear XL (16-18) in ladies, not Women's, and 18 W on bottom. All of it will be going to clothing sale , so any pre-ops in size 24 , great new suits for fall!
Then got something stick on Sat night and had the worst time. Threw up for 4 hrs with foamies then finally whatever got stick popped out! Was so sore Sun, stick to purred and softer foods on Sun. So glad I had this board and knew what was happening, so much pain!
Worked out with trainer , then some internet job searching. CMSA mtg tonight in Oakbrook. I'll see Co-workers from BCBSIL that haven't seen me for a month. I think they will be a little surprised. 5 dress sizes down since I've seen them last.
Randy, hang in there buddy, it will happen, just stay on the insurance and doctors.

I am submitting my paperwork to the surgeon's office today. It has been an exciting week with getting approval from insurance. I just now get to move forward with the surgeon.
I will be leaving work early today to take my daughter to the doctor for her school sports physical then we will either go to my mother's house to ride horses to prepare for the show this weekend or we may be doing homework all night. Time will tell.
I look forward to getting to know folks in IL and would really welcome folks from the central part of the state to get in touch with me. I feel like there is no one else out there south of Joliet who posts regularly. (I admit I have been reading for quite a while before finally posting.)
I am going to ride and show my horse again.
