DARN it! I live in Rockford (Winnebago)

We have a support group that meets in Rockford on the third Monday of every month at the UofI college of medicine.

Connie usually posts a reminder the Friday before.

If you need more info, please let me know and I will be MORE than happy to help!

I did attend that meeting last month.

Not many people present. I think there was only 1 RNY, and everyone else was Lap.

I am think about going this month, again.

I missed last month's meeting, but you are correct, the group is usually small.

I like the small group as we can talk about most anything and not get too lost.  My surgeon's group has over 100 at times and it is just too big for me, although there is great information to be gathered.

I live in Rock City so I go by Winnebago every day.  If there is anything I can help with, let me know and I will try.  Feel free to PM me if you like.

Does Mercy charge for there groups?

I had you down, I have been meaning to ask you where in Dupage County do you live.  I am looking at possibly holding them in Sugar Grove.  I have one person in Elgin and one in Plainfield and I am trying to get a central location for everyone.  Is Sugar Grove ok with you. Let me know.

I live in Roselle, Sugar Grove would be about 45 min- 1 hour from me, so it would depend on when there are held.  Thanks for keeping me in mind!  Lisa
