Omar i was the same way... I was waiting to go into surgery in the preop holding room crying and asking my husband if i was doing the right thing or should i just pull the iv out and run home. He said after all I have been through to prepare for this there was no way I wasn't going thru with it. He was so right and I am so glad he was there to keep me calm and be supportive for me. I remember the Dr saying where do you want me to take you as you go to sleep, Hawaii and I was practically crying saying I just want to be home and done with this to be there for my kids. Next thing I knew I was waking up in the post op area, asking if I was done and ok. They just kept saying yes your ok, and I was so happy. You will be too. Good luck and hang in there. I am sure you too have come very far to be where you are today!

Hi Omar,
As a pre-op myself, I can't offer any advice, but hang in there! Look back at your old posts, remember how much you wanted your insurance approval and date to be finalized? You are ALMOST THERE! Hooray!
I'm nervous also, and I'll probably be a basket case in about a month. By then, you'll be firmly planted on the Losers' Bench and telling ME not to worry.
Good luck with the rest of your pre-op diet, I'm sure not looking forward to it.
