Hello everyone

I'm sooo tired.  I haven't sleeping well at night.  Not to mention I was out late last night.  I went to a book signing.  It was great the author was sooo gracious.  The book store staff were a bit rude.  I probably will not ever shop there.  So anyways I only got 3.5 hours of sleep.  Hopefully I will stay awake today.

I am looking forward to this Labor Day weekend...can we say yeah for three day weekends!!!!

Friday I'm going in for my 4th fill.  I can't wait.  Wouldn't that be nice if I were finally at my sweet spot.

Well I hope everyone has a nice day

Morning.

Really don't have much to say, going through massive depression due to stress, and family crap again.  I am ready to move away, but that takes money.

I'm so sorry.  I hope you will be back to your wonderful cheerful self soon and remember we're all here if you need us to listen or just need a shoulder to cry on.

Good morning Crystal and the rest of Illinois!

I hope you get some rest tonight, Crystal.  Sleep is VERY important to everyone, but it is very important for us as if we are well rested, we can face the day and it is easier to make good choices.  Hang in there, the weekend will be here soon as it is "hump day"!

Sorry to hear that you are feeling down Dee.  Please come here for support or vent to someone you trust.

I am working today then looking forward to having Riley overnight as her parents are going to today's Cub game.  Todd will pick her up after school and bring her to Rock City.  She is always a hoot!

We also have our last "A Day in Rock City" committee meeting tonight to go over the final figures from this year's festival and turn it over to the new committe.  I am looking forward to that!

We have lots of options for this Labor Day weekend......now if I could get my husband to commit to a plan so that we can figure out what all we are able to do.

Sorry to hear of Randy's "bump in the road".  Maybe you can take you approval and test results to another doctor?  I hear the Kane Center is awesome.

That's about it for me today.  Everyone have a splendid day!

Tell someone that you love them!

I am hoping the Kane Center is an option.  I called them yesterday.  They said they take BCBSIL HMO just not though NW IPA which is the IPA for my PCP.  So perhaps there is a way to switch my IPA and PCP to get refered and approved.

Randy

So you have been forgiven?

The family and I got back from our whirlwind tour of the southern U.S.--we drove to and from Orlando. It was awesome! I have unpacked our stuff, done laundry and even put our suitcases away--a record for me. This "more energy" thing is the best!

My son starts 1st grade next Tuesday, so we are getting psychologically ready this week and physically ready today by getting his hair cut.

Spring is great, but I always have a real sense of rebirth and possibility when the new schoolyear starts! New notebooks, new pencils, new backpack--anything is possible--even straight As, at this point!

Hope everyone has a good day!

I haven't been around in awhile because school has started!  Yikes, the last week or so has been very busy, but we are starting to get into a regular routine.

Today will be 3 weeks that my insurance has had my paperwork.  I hope I hear from someone soon.  They told us it could take 3-4 weeks for a predetermination decision.

I hope everyone has a great day!

How long, how many fills and how many ccs did it take before you hit your sweet spot?  I am getting sooo impatient.  I'm not good at diets, that's why I got this surgery to help me and right now it's not that much help.

Hey Crystal-
Here's a list of when I got a fill...how many cc's....total
May 9,2008.....4.4
June 27............2.0.........6.4
Aug 8.................0.2........6.6
Sept 19..............0.2........6.8
Oct 15................1.1.........7.9....a little over 6 months after surgery
Jan 28,2009.....?..........
April 22.............?..........
Sept 4............................

So I've had 7 fills so far #8 will be Friday
After the one in Oct I was good for quite awhile.
As you can see the span between fills has been longer.
At this point I'm not sure how much I have in my band.
I'm assuming the last two were probably only 0.2 cc's.
It is a slow process but the weight loss has been fairly steady.
Hope this helps!
Carol
