Tuesday Roll Call

Good Morning, It's going to be another great day. No RAIN.

I am off to work. I know this morning, as well as the few weeks will be super busy. Everyone wants to be the first in line.

Sometimes this week, I am starting a compter class through work. I am excited that they are offering it.

What  are you doing today? Hopefully anyone waiting for approvals will get them. Those healing will get relief from there pains, those making big decisions  in their lives will make a wise choice.

 Good Morning Lisa and Illinois!

Another beautiful day is in store for us!  I wi**** would stay this way permanently weather wise.  Perfect for sleeping at nights and pretty in the day. 

I got an appointment to see my doctor today so hopefully I will have some answers by tonight.  We will see.  

I cannot believe it is September already!  Time is just flying by.  

My sister has invited me to Florida for Thanksgiving and I am debating about going.  I want to go but when I looked at air fares last night they were all over $500.00 just to be gone for 5 days.  Ugh!  I hate paying airfare.  It has really gone up in the last 3 years.  It used to be $250.00.  Decisions, decisions, decisions.

 I'm up after a fairly sleepless night.  I was able to lay on my side for the first time since surgery, but worries about the future kept me awake.  My port area is a little less sore today and I'm sure that is a sign of rapid recovery.  Today will be the first day since surgery that I will be taking care of the kids alone, and then back to class tonight.  Hopefully, I'll be able to nap later when Meredith takes her nap.  Have a great day everybody!

Paul....be sure to take a nap when Meredith naps. Just take it slow and you will be fine.

I hope everyone is doing well? Today is my first official day on my two week pre-op liquid diet and so far so good. I am not too fond of the strawberry Atkins protein shake that reminds me of Pepto Bismo but I just keep reminding myself that I have 27 to go. I am really excited about getting started on this journey.

Good Morning and welcome to September everyone!  I still can"t believe it is September already.  It will be a busy and exciting month.  My inlaws come this weekend from Minnesota for a visit and Saturday I am going to attend some seminars that the Kane Center is sponsoring, anyone going to those?  Sunday we plan on going to the zoo.  My daughter starts preschool next week so this Thursday we are going to the open house for that.  She will also turn 5 at the end of September so we are planning a birthday party.  Wow I can't believe my little girl will be 5 time fly's when your having fun!  I don't get to post everyday but I do enjoy reading and posting when I can. I also love to feel our unique connection that we all share and being on the same page helps. Thanks!                Have a great week everyone!    Lisa

Good afternoon Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I am back from what should hopefully be my last medical test.  This ultrasound shows damage that can be repaired surgically along with the other damage.  Once this test report is back in the coordinating doctor's hands, we should be able to set up a consult to form a plan of action for repairing my damaged parts.  Surgery is never fun, but it will be good to be "normal" again.  At least I HOPE that will be how it goes.  My insurance renews on November 1, so I really want everything fixed by then as I have hit my out-of-pocket for the year and don't want to start all over again.  Wish me luck.

Besides that, things for me are pretty much the same.  Todd has been easier to be around, so I am hoping that he finally "gets it".  I explained to him that I am his PARTNER, I am to SHARE things with him....that includes how he is feeling.  We will see.

The kids are back in school and Liv is loving it while David just does not "get it" either.  He did ot take the time to have the one class changed so now, due to putting it off, he has to take a class where he has very little chance at being successful.  I hate to see him do stuff like this because he is intelligent "off the charts" but does not want to do what is required to make the grades.  It is too bad, but I can't do it for him.

The weather is absolutely wonderful and I agree with Nancy....it could be like this most days and I would be happy.
