Paul, I know you are already at the hospital, but, hopefully everything is done by now, and you are in your room resting.
Dee, bus driving is hard on your body. Please don't add any injuries to it.
Omar, waiting is the hardest.
Lucy, You will get answers quickly.
Me, well I finished all the xrays and ultra sounds yesterday. Now just waiting to hear. I really don't expect any calls until next week sometimes.
Today, its just pickup stuff, and making some chili. I will put some of it in containers for lunches next week. Also need to color the hair. It is time to get back into work mode.

HI everyone still pretty new to the message board here. I will be 1 year post op from my realize band in October. I was reading the previous post and seen that Paul needs to have his band removed and another one placed, can any one explain why for me? I would also love to hear from anyone who is several years post op with a band and how they are doing.

Hello Everyone!
This is Liz and I am writing on behalf of Paul.
The surgery was successful this morning and he is still in recovery and should be going home this afternoon.
He loves everyone and thanks everyone for all the support - it means alot to him and to me that he has such a great group.
The band was removed since it was small and a large band was inserted. His stomach is inflamed due to the small band and hopefully will heal soon. He weighed in at 166 at home this morning.
He will try to be on again soon to chat.
Dawn - he asks that you tie -dye him a thong! LOL
Can you tell the drugs are getting to him.......

I'm glad Paul's (?) lap band surgery went well. i hope everyone is having a superterrific day. I know God is watching us! I can tell by the spirit of the Illinois group.
