Who has BCBS FEP & was Approved for VSG?

Hi VSGers,

I live in Oklahoma. I called BCBS they said they do claims for Oklahoma,Texas, New Mexico and Illinois. Just checking to see how many of you vsgers had success on the approval for your surgery.

July 15th, 2009 (Surgery Day)
227 Pounds
Size 22/24 Pants & 26/28 Shirt 46DDD Bra
August 15th, 2010 (13 Months Post Op)
125 Pounds
Size 4 Pants (WTF??!!) & Small Shirt 36DDD (Not my true size!) Bra

I think that she came to the IL board because her insurance approves patients that live in IL in addition to the other states she mentioned.

I am not sure if we have any VSGers on our board or if we do they might be lurkers. I hope you get your answer soon. Have you tried the insurance forum or the VSG forum to ask your question?
