I don't know about chewable but they do have it in liquid which is what I use.  You can find it just about anywhere.  Cherry flavor is not so bad.

I use liquid at home, but wanted something to carry with me in my purse.

Hi Sherry. Did you try the drugstore, like Walgreens or CVS?

I don't remember seeing chewable tylenol. Maybe try calling a couple of drugstores in your neighborhood to see if they carry it. Good luck!

I bought it at Target 4 years ago to use after my surgery.  I never used it, it expired and I tossed it.  I have not looked since that day but I would try looking anywhere they sell Tylenol.  If they do not have it, any pharmacy should be able to order it for you for no extra charge.

Hi Sherry!

I just went to the Tylenol website and it seems that they no longer make the chewable form.
I remember the ones you are talking about because I used them all the time after surgery----they were supposed to be mint flavored.

Anyway----they DO have a product called "Jr. Melt-aways" that might do the trick for you.  The only problem I see with that is that if you are used to the Extra Strength you would need 3 melt-aways to get the amount of medicine in ONE Extra Strength pill or caplet.

What I do now is purchase the Extra Strength "Rapid Release" gel-caps and bite them into 3 small pieces each then swallow with water.  This works for me as then the pieces are "smaller than the eraser of a pencil" and they dissolve quickly in my pouch.

Good luck!

Hi Sherry,
Right after my surgery I used chewable baby aspirin.  I am now able to swallow aleve or ibuprofen.  I woud just take twice as much of the baby aspirin and it worked just fine.

Thanks

This is how I am going to solve my issue.   I will use childrens chewable (melt) and just have to take enough to come up with the same amout of mg as adult strength.  I would like to find the adult chewables again. but there must not have been enough usage of them ( they really tasted bad) for the company to keep making them.
