Good morning IL family.

This morning I have my ortho doc appointment. I hope to get some answers. Actually, I'll be leaving work in about 15 minutes; my mom is coming with me.

Hope everyone is well and those waiting for insurance approval get an answer soon!

Good morning Lucy andthe whole of Illinois.

I will be leaving shortly to go to the hospital and get a Holter Monitor put on for a 24 hour testing. When   I was at the ER on sunday, they thouht they detected a skipped beat. When I talked to my pcp on Monday, she suggested we do this before I rush up to see Dr. Sauri.  I agreed. Then tomorrow morning I have a bowel xray and a lower GI to get. BEFORE coffee!

Other then that, my sister will be by today. She has a wake to go to.

Lucy, I hope you get good news at the Ortho Guy today.

Wow, a lot of doctor visits. At least you should get some relief after getting the report on your 24 hour holter monitor. I don't envy you having to have a LGI. Ugh!

Good morning Lucy and the rest of Illinois!

I am sending great mojo to you for your ortho appointment.  I sure hope he can do something to help you get a good night's sleep.  Sleep is VERY important!

Lisa, it sounds like the docs are putting you through your paces also.  I hope all tests come back with good news.

I got the results of my testing......I need more testing!  It kind of makes me upset since I was told that I would have an answer this week and we could proceed with fixing the issues.  Oh well, what can I do?  We are really at their mercy.  My next test is scheduled for next Tuesday.

Not too much exciting happening here.  Kids are back to school and I went to some consignment shops last night looking for baby girl things to tie dye for our new neighbor.  She should be having her baby girl any day now.  I also need to make sure we have a little extra food so that we can feed her husband and small son at least one meal while she is in the hospital or when she first comes home.  It is the least we can do.

I am thinking of all our new approvals, those waiting for approval and Paul, who is getting a new band on Friday.  I sure hope the new band solves his issues!

It is a very dreary looking day here and I think it will be this way all day.  I just wanted to stay in bed this morning.  I am NOT liking coming to work in the dark already!  WHERE did summer go?

Hi Dawn. Sorry to hear that you need more testing and have to wait some more to get your answers. It seems like a couple of us are not in the best way.

Lucy, I sure hope you get some help today at the ortho doctor or at least some answers that will lead you in the right direction.  Vicodin is my friend for my knees.

Lisa, I hope that they can get to the bottom of your problems and find that nothing serious is amiss. 

Dawn, sorry that you keep hearing "let's do more tests"  Nothing is more frustrating.  Ugh!

For those dealing with insurance companies, it takes a LOT of patience.  And this is at a time when you want an answer NOW.  Try not to think about it.  Remember you have no control over the outcome.  Just keep in mind that if the answer is no, Appeal, appeal, appeal.  

I hope everyone has a great day, even though it is pouring rain here.  

Thanks Nancy. I got some Norco but only for nighttime. I might try to get one of my docs give me a better script - more pills. I'm not a drug addict, but come on - I only got 10 pills for the week. That's once a night, with 3 left!

Went to the hospital, and was home in less then 30 min.

Moniter is on, and can't take a shower this evening. Not happy about that!

Hi everyone,

Today I attempt to square away  my approval from my Cardiologist for the surgeon. Assuming all goes well, I will just need to deal with my pumonoligist on Monday and the ever lingering out of network issue.

Hi Omar. Just keep plugging away until you get your consulant reports, etc. It does get so frustrating at times, but when you get your surgery date - you will be so happy and excited.
