Tuesday Roll Call
Its going to be a great day today. I have some stuff to do, need to take a long walk, look for a better pair of walking shoes ect.
Boy did yesterday go by in a blur. I called the local surgeon to report on the fact I was still vomiting, after a week on Nexium. He decided I need to have some more xrays with barium. I seen my pcp, she said I was fine from the fall, but she wants me to wear a heart moniter for 24 hours. She also seen me vomit, and decided to give Dr. Guske a call, which ended with me making a flying trip to Hoffmann Est. for a .3 unfill. Then we got home in enough time to drink some supper and go to bed. Whew!
so, all in all a good week s starting.
Whats on your agenda today?
Hugs, LISA
Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!
Glad to hear that your doctors are on top of things. YOU know if things are not right, don't let them push you to the side! I need some new shoes too---my feet STILL hurt!
I am working today and have a roast in the crock pot for dinner. All I will have to do when I get home is make the brocoli and rice for the family. The dyes are to arrive today for the Tie Dye Party and I will probably take the canopies home today or tomorrow.
The kids are liking school so far and David even likes the theater class that they put him in without his asking. At first, he was pretty upset about it. He needs all the good grades he can get, and if he does not like a class, he will not do well. Since he did NOT sign up for this class, we were worried. Of course, there is nothing to trade it with due to the scheduling. He will be changing one other class to something more suitable, then he should be set.
So, all quiet on the western front.
Everyone have a spectacular day!
Lisa I hope all works out for you. I agree with Dawn that it seems that the dr are on top of things. I actually started running recently and have found that just my regular everyday shoes are just not cutting it for that. So I too need to go shoe shopping. They are just so expensive

Lisa, I am so glad you got to the doctor yesterday and that she got you into your surgeon pronto! This is something you should not have to put up with. I hope the unfill helps.
Yesterday was a good day. Kind of peaceful at work. Busy but no major complaints. Everyone in a good mood. Today is another routine day. No physical therapy today. I had that yesterday. I am one degree from goal in bending of the knee so it has paid off.
No major news from this front. Same old same old.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Just a quick fly-by....not much to report.
Lisa-glad everything is ok....hoping the slight unfill will keep you from vomiting.
Congrats to those having just gotten approvals!!!!
You will soon be on the losers bench with the rest of us.
Welcome back to old friends who have been away!
Welcome to our new friends! Keep us posted on life in general.
Have a great and wonderful day!
I going to work on resume , then take my mom to see Julie and Julia. Everyone at support group picnic said it was good.
Then some swimming with the kid after school.
I have 6 week check up in the morning , then hopefully will be cleared for working out with trainer.
Still trying out new protein shakes, orange one wasn't so bad after all...
Have a great day!
Good morning Lisa and IL family.
Lisa - glad to hear that you went to see Dr. Guske. I thought you were using him as your general surgeon. Hope that the unfill helps you!
I got one more day to see the ortho surgeon. This interrupted sleeping is really getting old. My pain is worse than ever. Of course, I am pitying myself.
Nothing else new on the home front.
Happy to see that so many are just around the corner to a new and healthy lifestyle.
Enjoy this summer day. Just think in 4 months it will be Christmas Day!
Hugs and Love, Lucy
Lisa, I'm so glad you did not break anything w/ the fall. Praying they figure out what is causing your vomiting.
I'm working a double today so that is the only thing on my agenda for the day. Calvin sprung it on me Sunday that he will not be home until the 18th of Sept. I'm not happy about that but what can you do?? It is what it is. We leave on the 19th of Sept for vacation so he better make it home. I'm going regardless if he's home or not! LOL I'm looking so forward to seeing him and also our vacation.
I hope Crystal is feeling better after her fall.
Have a great day everyone.
