Thursday Roll Call

Good morning IL family.

Well we are nearing the weekend again.

Today I get the pleasure of driving downtown. Ugh! We are leaving a lot earlier so that we are not so late. Yesterday it took us around 1 hour and 45 minutes to get downtown at the Marriott.

Coming home we got into the heavy rain and thunderstorms. I got drenched,

Had a painful night and couldn't sleep much. Came down around 2 am to sleep in the recliner. I don't know what to do anymore. I was in tears last night. My appointment isn't until Wednesday and there's nothing i can do.

Hopefully Randy will hear some good news.

Time to get dressed and ready for today's challenges.

Have a good day.

Hugs and Love,
Lucy

Good Rainy Morning Lucy and the rest of IL!

What a gloomy day today.  Lucy, I am so sorry you are having so much pain...I will keep you in my prayers

Today my sister and I are heading down to Spring Valley to see my niece and her kids.  Mine are the only ones in school already and we have to bring some bigger outside toys, so it's my van that gets used.  lol  Tyler's football scrimmage game was cancelled last night due to the storms we got, it's rescheduled for today, but earlier, so I probably won't make it home for it.  We'll see.

Other than that, nothing going on today...I'll be gone all day.

Hope everyone has a great day and stay dry and safe!

Monica

Hi Monica.

Today started out gloomy and raining and now the sun is shining! Hope you are having a fun visit with your sister, niece and kids.

I left earlier today from the conference. It sure was a better travel day. This morning it took us an hour to get downtown. I think the rain slowed us down as we left at 6:30 this morning. Coming home was quick as I left the downtown area around 12:30.

Had to go and pay my credit card bill, and was able to since it was payday!

The worst pain is on the side of the knee.

Thanks for your prayers.

Hugs,
Lucy

Good Morning Lucy and Illinois friends

Lucy, I am sorry you have so much on your plate right now.  And to be in pain on top of that is really hard.  I can relate as I still have one knee that needs to be replaced and now I am realizing just how badly!

I am glad yesterday is over.  It was one of those days I do not wish to repeat any time soon.  Work was o****il the end of the day when I got a sales rep that kept throwing temper tantrums until I was in tears.  They think they are Gods and that we should do whatever they say and that is not the case.  When they get told we cant do something, they do not like it.  Then we have to endure their wrath.

To top off my day I came home to find a HUGE tree branch across my driveway.  It is also wedged into the tree so I am calling a tree cutting service this morning.  My neighbor tried to get it out but it would not budge.

Today is work and the dentist.  I get to have a tooth pulled and an implant put in.   What fun!  Maybe I should say I will be glad when this week is over.  Oh, I also have a nasty cold.  Anyone want to come and coddle me?    I am great at whining right now.

I hope everyone has a great day!

Nancy, you've got a lot on your plate right now. I hope that you will feel better soon. It sounds like in every industry there are people who are a pain in the a$$.

Hope your dentist appointment goes well and you get the tree wreckage out.

Take care,
Lucy

Good morning Lucy and the rest of Illinois!

I am so sorry to hear that you have to deal with all this pain, Lucy.  I really hope they can give you some help at your appointment.  Maybe you can try to call them for some relief until you can get into their office?

Monica, drive safely and enjoy your visit.

Nancy---you REALLY have a lot going on for one person!  I wish you a much better day today and hope that your cold goes away very soon.  That has to be hard on top of dental work!  I am sending the good mojo your way.......

I am working today and both kids will be working the fair.  They said it was fun yesterday and Liv said they had over 530 people go through yesterday in the early afternoon!  WOW!!!!

They both start school tomorrow morning but only go for half a day.  REAL school starts Monday.

Not much exciting happening with me today.

I wish you all a fantabulous day!!!!!

Tell someone that you love them!

Hi Dawn. It's hard to believe that the kids are going back to school already!

I'm at wits end. I doubt that I will get some pain medication without being seen.

At least now it is less than a week away!

Lucy, I am so sorry for your pain. Maybe you can call your doc and get some medicine to help you get through until Wed?

Busy here. Packing up our family for a long driving trip to Florida to see the Mouse! 18 hours of driving and dealing with young kids and my hubby in a minivan hurtling down the highways. My newly-bony tailbone may not enjoy that part much!

Thanks to my DS, I know I will have the energy to be the kind of active mom I want to be on this trip and every day. Plus, the killer heat in Florida is not frightening me, like it would have just one year ago! (I'd be sweatinng now, just thinking about all the sweating I would be doing there at 344 pounds!)

Have a good day all!

Nicolle

I had the kick-butt duodenal switch (DS)!

Hi Nicolle. That's a lot of driving that you'll be doing. I remember the days of the painful tailbone after losing the fat pad there. I could hardly sit down for any period of time unless I had one of those pads under me.

Enjoy your trip to DisneyWorld.
