ACCEPTED INTO DR. ALVERDY's PROGRAM!!!
Hello everyone,
I am 1/2 excited! I have now officially been accepted into Unversity of Chicago Medical Center...Dr. Alverdy will be my surgeron.
On yesterday, they told me that would be submitting to insurance for approval.
My insurance is BCBSIL. I am praying that will approve right away.
Does anyone know what the approval or denial time usual takes with BCBSIL?

I think, by law, insurance companies have to reply within 30 of receiveing the request.
If you have completed ALL requirements, you should be good. I agree with Lisa---call them if you have heard nothing within a couple of weeks.
