Cardiac test results got faxed to PCP yesterday.

Just had a call and the cardiac clearance letter will be faxed today.

Pulmany Funtion Test today and Pulmanary doctors appointment as well so that clearance and test should be faxed today as well.

Hopefully that will do it,  The PCP/HMO lady origanally was saying I needed a doppler echo but she backed off of that and I hope she is right this time and was just using the wrong termanology for the 2d echo I had already had at the same time as the chemical stress echo.

Good luck Randy!  I hope this is just what they are looking for to send that approval letter your way!

Hi Randy. Hopefully this will be your final hurdle in getting approval and definite surgery date.

Your day is coming!

I really hope that this is true!  What is your surgeon saying in all of this?  Do they still have you down for that day?  I sure would hate for you to be thinking that you are still on the schedule only to be disappointed again.  Hopefully everything will work out.

Sounds like you have everything she asked for. Yeah, the 2 d is the same as a doppler echo so you should be fine. And since you are cleared by Pulmonary , there shouldn't be anything holding you back!  You can PM me if you need any help on the insurance/nursing side.  Since BCBSIL laid me off I have some time on my hands and an out of work nurse is a bored nurse. ;)
We keep you in my thoughts and prayers, things are going to be ok, and soon you will be one of us trying to learn about our new bodies!

Good luck !

Same days it doesn't pay to chew the restraints off...

Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts.  Neither I nor the HMO/PCP lady have had anything said to us from the surgeons office since they told her that was the day.

Concentrating on getting the approval then we will worry about getting a pre-op appt and surgery.
