Good morning Illinois!!!!

I am up and getting ready for my last test today.  The bladder test Friday showed that my bladder is the size of a volleyball and does ot empty properly---THAT is why I go every 1/2 hour to 45 minutes!  The colonoscopy yesterday came back clear of any troubling issues.  I spent most of the day sleeping and resting.  After today's test, I should be able to meet with the referring doctor to make a plan for fixing issues related to the birth of my children.  I had not been aware that these issues could be fixed....I thought it was just part of how I am built, so that is good news.

Todd and I went to dinner and a move on Saturday night.  It was nice and he seems to be a little better.  He is under a lot of stress right now, but he needs to let me in to help....not close himself off.

I am thinking of Paul today as he has his upper endoscopy done.  I hope they can fix your issues rather quickly and without too much pain.  Glad to hear that things with your mom are a little better....you don't need the extra stress either.

What is going on with everyone else?

Good Morning Dawn and Illinois,

We're waking up the chickens together lol. I'm glad you found out what was going on, it's difficult to have medical issues that you can't figure out.

My dad is in the hospital today, so I have to go and visit him this morning and then go to work. I'm working on my last 4.5 lbz to get to the Century club, but I'm letting it happen. NOt stressing. It's my own personal goal.

I'm now managing my daughters singing career - fun but tiring somedays and keeps me going. I'm just glad I had the surgery, i would never be able to run around with her. LOL

Enjoying life 1# less at a time.
Have a great day IL, and I'll do the same.
God Bless,

Trying to figure out how to reverse this weight gain.

Good Morning!

Today is my day off from both jobs.  Yippy, Skippy!  I have cleaning to do and would like to get thru some tubs of old clothes in the basement.  I need to wash them and take them over to the consignment shop.  If they don't want them, they will either go to my docs office for the clothes exchange or to goodwill.

I got my hair cut and highlighted yesterday.  It makes me feel a bit sassy.  I really like it.  Not much else going on.  Just counting the days down that Calvin gets to come home.  We have one week down, three more to go.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning Dawn and Illinois.

Dawn, I am so happy you are getting all your issues resolved.

Chicago Candy, don't you just love what you can now do, that was impossible before.

Good Luck Paul and your scope today.

I went with my daughter last night as she took the first step to being healthy. We went to a informational meeting for St. Francis  Health Care in Peoria. It did bring back the memories of when I started the process.

today for me is a Dr. visit. To see what they are going to do about the gall stones. Then a couple of errands. Will get my walk in too.

Haven't decided on dinner yet, but it will be loaded with fresh veggies.

Stay safe and dry,

Hugs, LISA

Hi everyone,

Another rinse and repeat day for me at work. Still waiting on approval but not too worried about it yet. I hope everyone has a good one.

Thanks

 Good Morning Dawn and Illinois

I am glad to see people getting medical issues resolved or at least getting to the bottom of the problems.  That is half the battle!  Once you know what you are dealing with, a treatment plan is much easier to create to solve that problem.

Not much going on with me.  I came down with a cold over the weekend.  Would love to go back to bed but work calls.  Hope I can stay awake throughout the day.  I am worn out with this cold.  It too though will pass.

No real news in my corner of the world.   Christina enjoy your day off.  Dawn and Lisa good luck at your doctors appointments, and Paul, I am thinking about you and your scope today.

Have a good day.

I'm up and getting ready to go to the hospital for my esophagus scope.  I'm not so worried about the camera down the throat, it's the doctor's arm when he puts it down to snap the shutter!!!  All joking aside, I appreciate all the support and prayers you have all been giving me.  I know that this test is relatively minor compared to some of the things we have all gone through, but I'm scared just the same.  I am so glad to hear that you are on the verge of better health and a pealess hour every now and then, Dawn!  I'll see you in the anestised dream world later this morning!  Have a great day everybody!

Good morning Dawn and Illinois!

Not much going on in my little corner of the world.
Gym tonight.....didn't get to go to Lockport for the concert
due to the rain. Saying prayers for all who need them.

Still fighting to lose a few more pounds.....I feel like I'm on a roller coaster ride....two pounds up....two pounds down....a pound up....two pounds down....when is my body going to say,"okay...she's still feeding me but it's time to let go of the pounds"?
Oh well, I'm better off than I was a year ago....

Have a great day everyone!

Hello!

Not much going on today.  I'm at work this morning and then to the gym before heading home.  I have plans for a bike ride this evening to collect wildflower seeds for my butterfly garden.  Just started it this summer and I have been having a lot of fun with it.

I survived the test and it turns out that there isn't very much damage! But I need surgery to replace the tight band with one that fits better. The procedure was delayed by 1.5 hours due to complications with a surgery prior to mine, but I'm basically okay. I'm drugged up from the anesthesia so I'm going to sleep soon. I have colored pictures of the test, but I'll withhold those for now! I'm looking at a week from Friday for the band replacement if insurance okays it. Thanks for all the prayers and support. I can't even begin to explain how much it has meant to me and my family.
