Monday Roll Call
Good Morning Illinois and all other friends!
It's a wet one out there and kind of gloomy. The weekend went well for me in the eating arena. I was actually able to eat some solids and drank a good deal of liquid. It feels good to have some energy back. I'm a little nervouse about the esophagus scope tomorrow, but excited to move forward with getting my problems taken care of. My mother called and apologized for acting selfishly with all this stuff. I'm still a bit upset, but at least she's trying. I hate having to be the parent in that situation. Today is just basic stuff and then school this evening. But tomorrow is dedicated to the proceedure, then class on Wednesday night and then we will be going to downtown Chicago for a get away weekend with the kids! Stay dry today.

DH woke me this morning because he couldn't find his wind breaker. He then tells me its raining. Oh well, how does that song go? "Rainy Days and Mondays Always get me down".
i tried to work on a quilt this morning, apparently my machine doesn't like Mondays either. It decided to quit working for the second time in a week. DH will see it tonight.
Sears delivered the new Fridge yesterday. It is really nice. I love the idea of the 3 doors.
Today, I am meeting my daughter, Monica, in Peoria. She is attending an informational seminar for her RNY. I am so happy she has finally decided to do something. I feel that the OH event in Chicago did help her solidify her desire to get healthy.
I do have a few things that need to be done here this morning.

good morning Paul and IL, I have today off and of course it is raining, I don't have any plans for today other then working from home on some stuff for work, and going and paying for our residents outing on Thursday, I have been good weight is up and down but I am OK with that I think, My shoulders hurt a lot and it makes it hard to sleep

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Hello everyone
My daughter is home!!! I took the day off today. We have a busy week before she goes back to college on Friday. My daughter is covered on bug bites, has a huge scar on her arm from a burn and a football sized bruise on her leg from falling when she was hiking up a side of a mountain. Needless to say the smokey mountains beat her up. We're going for pedicures today. She needs some pampering, and her feet are a mess. We are also getting her hair cut and going shopping at the Goodwill. The first thing she wanted when she got back to Illinois was some Chinese food, I guess the Chinese food in Tennessee is not very good.
Paul- I'm glad things seem to be getting better with your eating.
Lisa- I'm so happy and excited for your daughter. She should start coming on here.
Well I hope everyone stays dry.

I'm working this morning. This is our final week of summer break here at the school. Myself and another teacher are dividing and conquering the last bit of work to be done before everyone is back. We are two of the three full time staff at the school; everyone else is part time.
I am going to the gym today. I will do an elliptical warm up, then machines, and finish up with more elliptical. I keep telling myself, "the gym is my friend". Snort! One of these days I'll believe it.
