Just the fax

Just the fax the IPA says they did not get get on the 6th but the PCP/HMO lady has acknowledgement they recieved.

She has had that happen before and others have reported it here as well so I guess it is on me for not calling the IPA last week when she sent it the first time.

Let us see what games they will play now.

Is is possible that they got the fax, but it is not "in the system" yet?  That's how it was for me with BCBS---there is a delay while they input the data.

Wishing you luck getting it straightened out soon.  This too shall pass........

The IPA claimed they did not get the first one at all.  The second one on the 13th, yesterday was in the system and I had a case number within thirty minutes when the PCP/HMO lady and I were both following up with the IPA.  Just another stall IMHO.

Since you now have a case number the wiat should not be too much longer.......

I am in the same boat. UIC faxed my request June 25th and we discovered they did not receive it when the coordinator called them on 08/07/09. She refaxed the request 08/07/09 and called yesterday 08/14/09 and verified they did receive it and are reviewing. You have to have a lot of patience going through this process.

Not a patient patient.

I am not a patient person either but this time I had no choice. I got home today and found my approval in the mail. They received the fax 08/07/09 and approved me 08/10/09. God is good!! I am sure yours is in the mail to. Maybe I will see you at UIC.

I have not been on for a few days and I just knew that you were going to be approved and I would be wishing you well on the next part of your journey.  Sorry that it is taking this long, but you seem very patient to me.  I would be yelling by now.  Lots, and you would be able to hear me. lol

You will know something this week.
