I just got a call from my PCP, as you know, I went and had a gall blatter ultra sound on Tuesday. Well, I knew my Dr was just humoring me since I had no sign of gall blatter problems. Well, i guess I knew best. They just called and said i was full of gall stones, and I needed to see the surgeon. Now I will call him and set up an appointment.

Lisa

Sorry to hear about the gallbladder problem but glad you were persistant and made them do their job.  We do know our bodies and know when something is wrong.

I hope they can do a rather simple procedure to remove the stones and gallbladder.  Maybe they can take some skin too!  That would be ideal.

I had mine removed when I was 19 and they did the open procedure.  Things have changed so much since then.

Let us know what the surgeon says.

Hi Lisa.

Sorry to hear about your GB and stones.

Are you seeing our Dr, McDreamy??

He took mine out a year ago and of course, did a great job.

I just melt looing into his eyes.

Good luck with your appointment and let us know.

Hugs,
Lucy

I am so sorry you are having gallbladder issues.  I have been there and done that.  Mine was removed through open surgery 14 years ago after 1 attack and it was gangrenous!    So much better to get it out early.

Hopefully it can be done via lap.  People I know who have had it lap are in and out and back to work in a couple of days.

Keep us posted.

Dear Lisa:

Sorry to hear about another possible surgery, but glad to hear that you have a doctor who will listen to you when YOU know there is something wrong.

Let us know what the surgeon says and hopefully, it can be done lap.

Tell someone that you love them!
