Wednesday Morning Roll Call
Man so much going on. I haven't been anywhere this year either. With DH out of work for a year. In spite of this I feel very blessed. I'm glad it is hump day but have a busy weekend coming. I will be cooking a lot this weekend with company on Sat and a house warming pot luck on Sunday.
My DH painted our bathroom yesterday and to his surprise I had picked a very soft pink that he then made a very mottled white and pink. I love it. It goes beautifully with our pink, gray and beige veined marble. I can't wait to buy some chocolate brown towels so it will look like neoplatin ice cream.
I still have to find some temporary beds to use for company coming at the end of Sept but I'll keep looking around.
Not much going on, taking a lunch break at work to write this. Had 1/2 C fried cabbage and smoked turkey and as Racheal Ray would say it was yummo. I still can't believe 1/2 a cup of anything fills me up.

yes it is hump day, thank goodness. I have Gkids today, last day for a while, I have my 2nd fill tomorrow and I am looking forward to it but a little scared , so far very little trouble eating.
otherwise things quiet, garden getting very weedy and waiting very unpatiently for tomatoes to ripen. I have a meeting to night supper meeting too, alway a question as to what to eat. always eat to much. always bring home doggie bag.

You would do just fine! We've all dropped a tray. **** happens.
I could have collected unemployment for at least another 8mo but I just can't stand not being busy. So, I took the high road and decided to try my luck at waiting tables full time. I have good days and bad.. like anything.
Once the boys are back to school, we need to hook up. One of my nephews started back on Monday and the other today.
I made a big mistake over the weekend. I cleaned out Calvins car including the trunk. I removed his golf clubs because I figured he would not need them............... Well, he called Monday night to tell me his golf clubs were missing. They are not missing, they are sitting in the garage. So, he offered to buy a new set..... I don't think so. I just left the UPS store and shipped them. Cost me 80 bucks but that's a whole lot cheaper then buying a new set. Lesson learned, let him clean out his own car. LOL
Not much going on. Ran some errands, worked out at noon and working at Outback tonight.
