Hey everyone , I just wanted to pop in and let everyone know how I was doing . Wedsday I will be 1 mth out .. I am down 36lbs . As most of u know I had open GBS . A week out my wound opened . So home health have been coming and packing everyday . I have not been moving alot so I think thats why I have not lost n e thing in the last 2 weeks . But my pain is slowing going away , and my "boo boo " ( lol ) went from being 2 1/2 cen deep last monday to being .05 deep last night . Its still 8 cen long and 4 cen wide but looks lots better .. I feel like I could move the moon I am just waiting for them to give me the go a head ...Thanks so much for all the well wishes....and THANK GOD FOR SEEING ME THRU....CHEROITY

Big Hugs.. I'm so glad to hear that you are on the mend. It stinks when things dont go as planned but it sounda like your gettin there. Congrats on the wl! 36lbs is super!

Hey Cheroity,

Yep, our 4 week mark is less than 24 hours away! I admire your courage through all this. I too have not had a fun time but things will get better for us, you'll see!

I'm sitting at a 22 pound loss and with you having complications 36 pounds is awesome! Keep up the great work girl!

I am sorry to hear you have had a rough first month. An incision opening up is no fun. I had fluid leaking from one and that was a pain and took forever to heal but it did not open like yours!

Congratulations on your weight loss! That is fantastic! I think you are doing wonderful. When else in your life have you EVER lost over a pound a day? Keep up the great work!

I'm sorry to hear about your complications. I know what those are like! been there done that. Trust me, it does get better and the weight will come off faster once you can move more. However....36 pounds!! that's AWESOME!!
Keep checking in too, that's what we're here for!
