Good morning Sleepyheads!

It is beautiful outside right now....I know I'm nuts!
I know it will get hotter as the day goes on.

Later we will be going to Frankfort for the Concert on the Green series. We look forward to people watching and listening to the bands. Tonight music is country with a rock edge.  The grandkids have their snacks and water ready to go. Thay can't wait to go and dance.

What's on your agenda today?

Keep hydrated...keep safe...but have a great day!

I really don't have much going on.  I need to see if I can find a couple white button down shirts for my new job.  I bought one at Walmart the other day but it is so hot.  I need to find a lighter weight fabric.

Some house cleaning needs to be done but other then that, not a lot going on.

Have a great day!

Boy, everyone is either laying low or the heat has gotten to them.  I am getting on here just before noon and I am the first to respond to you?  I have been to church, grocery store/WalMart, and have made a batch of protein ice cream.  Now my agenda is playing on the computer and staying cool.  My duties for the day are done.

Everyone please be careful in this heat.  They are predicting heat indexes of 104 around here today and they say than 105 is a extremely dangerous temperature so keep hydrated and cool.  Take it easy today.  I hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning all my IL friends

Happy Sunday to you all.  I slept really late today, til amost 10:30!  yikes, I never do that.  Of course I was up very late last night reading too.  Today I am picking the boys up around 3 from their dad's and then heading home where a friend of ours is bring over her 7 little puppies for the boys to play with so they get used to kids and stuff.  We are all very excited, but don't worry, no puppies are staying here!  LOL  I think Mike is nervous about that.  There is one puppy that looks and reminds me SO much of our Kizer we lost back in 06 though..lol
Other than that, just trying to stay cool and get some homework done...I'm just about finished with my first semester!  yay!

Hope everyone stays hydrated and cool today!

Luckily all these pups are already spoken for!  LOL  The person who is bringing them over is the breeder we got Harley from and these are actually Harley's 1/2 siblings..lol

Oh that would get me in big trouble.  I just love playing with those lil pups.  But then they grow up!  I had my Missy at the vet on Friday and she is tipping the scales at 105lbs.  Big Girl.  It runs in the family.  LOL

Have fun!

Good Morning Carol and the rest of Illinois.

Yep, it is going to be a hot one today. I have already got most of my dinner ready to go onto the grill, and waiting for my daughter and family to get here to go swimming. Also, we will have our granddaughter for a few days.lllllllllllllllll,,,,l

Dh has forbidden me to go walking with this humidity. So, I will be working out on the Gazell today.

Tomorrow I will either be messing around the house or road tripping over to Fulton. They have a working windmill and a period town. It sounds like fun.
DH may not be able to get tomorrow off.

Lisa, the viewing of that windmill in Fulton is best seen from the water side and that being the Mississippi. Dave and I have seen it 6 times while on the Riverboat Twilight going up and down river. I will let you learn the history of it when you get there as it has a neat background.
