New hobby

A few months back I was listing the meat shopping I had done in a day here.

Roast duck was among the list.

As I move closer to surgery and use smaller plates my meat bill is shrinking and of course will shrink more post-op(positive thinking since I am waiting on insurance approval).

I think one hobby I need to begin is searching out ****tail party and ardeuvers size recipes.  Any good ideas?

I have found a good source for duck to use in these recipes. Hickory Roasters on New Wilke cooks a duck on a rotissere without the stuff that gets added to the chinese duck.

Randy, there is a book out called Little Bites. It is full of first course things. You can get it at Boarders, ect.

Hi Randy,

One of my favorite recipe books is by Patt Levine;

Eating Well After Weight Loss Surgery: Over 140 Delicious Low-Fat High-Protein Recipes to Enjoy in the Weeks, Months and Years After Surgery

Cooking for two recipe books, they have smaller portion recipes, so you don't end up with tons of letfovers.
