Monday Roll Call
Good afternoon! The question of the day is.....should the air be turned on??? I've only had it on once this summer. Things are okay in the Markham household. Maddie has had a really bad attitude for the past few days and I'm not putting up with it! She is grounded from TV for the next 2 days and she has lost the privilege of playing with her American dolls. I put that little girl to work this morning. The only thing she is allowed to do is go outside and ride bikes or go to her room and read. I'm not going to raise a brat that feels like she is entitles to whatever she wants! Okay...I'm done with my rant now! I can't believe Sat. will be my 10th wedding anniversary! I NEVER thought I would make it this far. We have not only hit some bumps in the road, but we have hit some huge pot wholes!! But we got through them! Now that I got some things accomplished around the house, I want to start doing some crafty stuff. I need to finish some scrap pages. I want to take some classes at the knitting store. I only know that 1 stitch and can't read patterns yet. Also I have a few bracelets I need to make for presents for some friends. That's all that's been going on in my world. I've been thinking about all of you! You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Lucy, your in my heart! All you guys are so special!

Hi guys,
Busy day here so far. We slept in a little to 9:30, yay! Then got a late start to our day, but nothing was planned so that is ok.
I have cleaned the kitchen, the stove, microwave, rearranged the counters, ( there is always too much stuff on my counters and I hate it!) I have done tons of laundry ( now to put it away), took Noah to a friend's house ( thank goodness) , totally cleaned and disinfected Brigid's car seat, it needed it sooooo bad! Cleaned toys on the deck, filled the sand table, and started dinner to be ahead of the game for once and not behind. Oh my Im tired just typing all of that! I have alot of little putzing to do so I am going to see how much I can get done. I might take the kids to the pool tonite for family swim if it stays this nice!
Love the warm breeze and having the windows open.
Brigid is watching Sleeping Beauty now, and I am hoping she falls asleep in her chair and takes a wee nap. She is fighting the cold that Jeff and I both have and could use the rest. With Noah not here, she may fall asleep! Fingers crossed!
My dad is going to his primary care doc today to tell him of all the goings on and he starts his first chemo on Friday. I am going with him to listen to all the nurse has to say and make sure he understands all the instructions.
Tomorrow we may go to this farm in Indianna where you can take a tour of a working dairy farm, see calves being born, see how they milk the cows, make cheese, etc.... My dad heard of it and wants to take the kids there before he gets too tired from all his treatments. It is about an hour and a half from here, not too bad. I am looking forward to spending the time with him doing someithing fun.
