Monday Roll Call

Good morning IL family.

I've got an early morning meeting so I'll start the roll call. So what's on everyone's agenda?

I have to call my ortho doc and get this water drained from my knee. I'm in pain almost all the time. It's worse at night while in bed.

My thoughts and prayers go to Eileen and family.

Good morning Lucy and the rest of Illinois!

I am working today and have to take Liv to the Playhouse at lunch all week for a Theater Camp.  That cuts into my reading time, but oh well.......

I got my bedroom cleaned on Saturday and put lots of live plants in the corner behind the headboard.  It looks pretty neat.  Now, all I have to do is get some pictures into frames and on the walls.  I also need to do the closet again.  I hope to have all of this done before Saturday.

I am still having lots of sadness over my marriage issue, and have an appointment on Thursday to speak to a pro.  Hopefully, she can help me sort out my feelings.

Eileen----CONGRATULATIONS on the 1 year mark!!!!!  You are doing awesome and it is hard to believe that it has been a year.  I am thinking of you as you deal with your dad's illness.  Spending happy time with him is the best idea!

I'm wishing Brad a HAPPY BIRTHDAY today, even if he might not see this post.  How exciting to go to Italy and bike.

Randy---hang in there, all your questions should be answered at your doc appointment today.

Tracy----you should ask your surgeon whatever questions come to mind for YOU.  Good luck!

Hi Dawn. Sorry to hear that you are going through some marriage issues. I hope you get the support you need at this time. I like your idea of plants in the bedroom. Sounds nice.

 Good Morning Lucy and Illinois!

I am on my way out the door for work.  Busy day today.  I have physical therapy after work.  The days are flying by for me.  

I am envious of Brad for his trip.  How much fun that would be!  

Tracy, there are some excellent books on WLS out there.  I found it VERY helpful to do some reading on my own.  No one else can answer your questions for you but you!  

Lucy, I hope you can get into the ortho doctor quickly.  Dawn, I hope you get some answers.  

Randy,  slow down!  Your surgery will happen on your surgeons schedule, not your's.  I know you want to keep your tentative date but it is TENTATIVE, not set in concrete.  It may still happen or it may be adjusted by a few days.  But It WILL happen.

Hi Nancy. Hope your second week at work is uneventful.

I got an appointment to see an ortho doc this afternoon at 2:30. I almost had to wait until Wednesday. I was in tears already since I was trying to make an appointment for today without any success.

Now, if I can get through the needles.... I hate needles.

Here in Alton I am getting the yard and house ready for a weekend invasion of 8 little boys and one large kid my 38 year old son with the personality that appeals to anyone under 14.Number 4 child is giving apool party for my twin grandsons she invited the 9 and when word got out to the family living in iowa they decided to come too.  So Sunday afternoon I don't know how many people will be here.

Sounds like your weekend is going to be busy with 8 boys plus. I'm sure you'll be chasing them around the yard.

Good Morning Lucy and Dawn.

I am off work for the next  month. We are transitioning from the cooling program  to the heating program that starts Sept. 1. so, i should get 2 more unemployment checks this month.

I didn't do to much yesterday, took a long walk and finished a load of laundry. Hoping today to shape some bushes out on our side yard. They are getting way to big for what I want.

Lucy, I hope you are able to get a doctor appointment for your Knees.

Dawn, I am sure all your and Todds problems will work out.

Eileen, take one day at a time with your Dad.

Nancy, don't over do. your knee is still healing.

I finally was able to get an appointment to see an ortho doc at 2:30 this afternoon.
