I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I had a miscarriage a few years ago (non-WLS-realted) and it still sort of "haunts" me from time to time.
I'm not sure what Medicaid covers as far as revisions go, but I agree with Nancy that you need to call someone there to find out more. PLUS, I'd ask some questions of the folks on the revisions board here on OH--many have travelled this path already and are willing to share their experiences.
I would like to add that you should think about the type of surgery you would like to be revised to. The RNY did not work for you, so I would think long and hard about whether it would work this time around. There are other options, including the DS, which has a 98.9% cure rate for Type 2 diabetes and the EWL is far greater than any other surgery. For more info on the DS, visit www.dsfacts.com and the DS forum here on OH.
No matter what you decide, a revision is a tricky thing--you can't just have any bozo surgeon do it. Your tissues have been comprised by your first surgery, you may have adhesions, etc. You need an absolute pro handling your revision. And if a surgeon recommends the Stomaphyx, ROSE procedure or the ERNY, ask lots of questions about their success rate, etc.
Best of luck to you!
