It looks to be another great day. Wear your sunscreen and sunglasses when you go out.

Its a normal Wed. for me. I am working and going out to dinner tonight.

BTW, I went to Walmart yesterday and they have ALL their plants on sale. Prentials $1. annuals $.05. Not a big choice, but i did get a couple of things for the flower garden.

I got a lot of sleep last night. I left work early and took a snooze on the chair yesterday afternoon.

Today I am starting fresh with emphasis on protein. I'm getting a new elliptical trainer tomorrow, so I can't wait to get it put together.

Lisa I will leave the plants at Walmart LOL...I tend to kill them..I have a black thumb. My mom is the one who can grow anything and I didn't inherit that gift from her LOL>

Went and saw Dr Rantis yesterday. Got out one drain...one to go and depending on how much it puts out I will get it out Thurs or Monday...He was so cute looking at my tummy and bragging about what a good job he did getting it tight. His nurse changed the steristrips and put new ones on. We went shopping after and I got a size 6 pair of capri's and they FIT!!!! Its going to be so fun to not have a muffin top..I hope anyway...won't know til the swelling goes down and I don't have the drain and the binder but the capri's fit over the binder! I am also cleared to drive so I can finally get out of the house! I need to commit to walking now that my back is fixed and I can. That is the only exercise I am cleared by both docs to do.

I finally got in a good night of sleep ( Sleep Apnea) and managed to almost get in 8 hours. Thank god for my Cpap machine or I would be one very dangerous person on the road at 5am.  I think it is time for some new pilows because I have a really stiff neck today. Work is progressing along smoothly and that is awesome.  On a side note, I finally sat down and told my boss about the upcoming surgery. He took it very well and was very encouraging. I was on the fence about whether or not I should just say surgery vs Weight loss surgery but it turned out okay. Now I just need to square away my approval and on to HR.

Good morning all,

Just a quick check in today to say HI!

Noah is having tons of issues so I am really busy with him.  I am impatiently waiting for tomorrow to come so I can go with my dad for his oncology apt and see what is going on.  The not knowing is always tougher than the knowing.

Trying to stay on track with eating and drinking, which seems to be ok now that I am so stressed about all these issues.  UGH!!  I guess it is better than binge eating like I used to do when I was stressed.  At least my little pouch takes care of that issue.  Thank God!

Today is cleaning the upstairs day, putting away all the laundry I did yesterday, vaccuming (sp?), dusting, bathrooms, etc.... the dreaded upstairs.  Oh well it will keep me and the kids busy so the day goes faster.

I hope everyone has a good day and I will post on Friday to let you all know what the oncologist says.

Good  Morning All -

Working this morning doing  some marketing.  Then a little break before I leave to go work at Outback tonight.  I do have some errands to run, bank, post office, cleaners, vacuum the car out.  Not too much else going on.
I did get a phone call from my sister in AZ.  Her mother-in-law passed away early this morning so please if you can, say a prayer for my sisters family.  They will be driving.. yes driving from AZ to OH tomorrow.  I worry about them driving that far but they can't afford the air fair on this short of notice.

It's lovely outside so I hope I can get in a little bit of sun while I'm marketing.  Have a great day everyone!

Nice to see everyone!  We've been so busy this summer!  Busy, but relaxing!  Maddie and I are off to the pool now.  We haven't been in awhile because of the cool weather.  Still exercising and the weight is coming off VERY slow, but I think I'm toning up because I'm going down in sizes.  Hope everyone has a good day and stay positive!

Good Afternoon Illinois!

It is such a pretty day, I don't want to stay inside so I will spend some time outside this afternoon and enjoy the weather!

This is my last day of leisure.  I went to the doctor this morning and I am cleared to go back to work tomorrow.  I am not ready but know I have to go sometime.  It has been fun staying at home and spoiling myself.  Now back to getting up early and going to bed at a decent hour.  

This afternoon I have physical therapy.  

Lucy,  I am glad you got some sleep last night.  Eye, you and your dad are in my thoughts and prayers for tomorrow and with the issues with Noah,  and I am thinking of Monica and her niece as they go through this difficult day.  It's is so hard to see so many people having such major issues in their lives.  I wish people did not have to have these enter their lives.

Hello Everyone!!
Did a lot of people from last year disappear, or just away for the summer? I miss catching up with everyone on here!

Nothing too exciting here today, just waiting for the repair guy to come out and fix my A/C. It stopped working yesterday, and it was like 10 degrees warmer in my house than it was outside, so I convinced hubby to take us out to dinner so we didn't have to cook. We took the kids to Chuck E Cheese, and met a friend and his boys up there, so it was a nice night out.
