FRIDAY ROLL CALL

Good Morning,

I know it is a just a little past midnight, but Friday morning is going to be crazy busy.

First off, Dawn, I want to say that I am praying for you and here for you in every way.  Stay strong and come here for support, we are here for you, as you are always here for all of us!

Wow, this week went so fast.  We have a really busy weekend.  Today I am taking the kids downtown to Union station to see the Disney train that is promoting the upcoming remake of the CHristmas Carol starring Jim Carey.  The train has exhibits on how they made the movie and at the end they have an inflatable movie theater showing clips from the movie.  The best part is it is FREE!  It is a great way to spend the day, and keep the kids busy at the same time.  I am hoping for good weather so we can go and do some other downtown things too.  I would love to go to the lakefront and maybe Buckingham fountain too.

Saturday is A Day in Rock City, I hope to see some of you there.  We are all going, and I am going to face paint.  Jeff will take the kids around and let them run amuck and plays games etc... I am looking forward to it, and I am hoping for good weather for that too!

Sunday, Noah has a cub scout campfire from 3-9pm so we will all be going there.  WOW, I am tired just thinking about all of it.  Should be a fun weekend!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and if you can make it out Saturday to Rock City, make sure you stop by my booth and say HI!

Take care and to those that had their surgery recently, I hope you guys get better and better each day!  Keep up the good work!

Good morning, I'm awake too--just one of those nights where I can't fall asleep. Not a problem since I don't have to get up early.

My mom is in rehab now and not liking it so she is doing as much exercise as she can to go back to independent living. The five days we spent in St. Louis were difficult since she was totally out of it and made no sense. At least she is back to her old self now, except for the leg. Sorry I couldn't get to group on Monday. I hated to miss it. Next month hopefully will be normal!

All of you who are struggling are in my thoughts and prayers.

Take care,

Connie

Good Morning Illinois friends!

I will join this middle of the night discussion as well.  As one who has their days and nights reversed, it is very common for me to be up at this hour.  I am going to be having a hard time next week when I go back to work.

Today I got out and had my hair done.  It seems that I have been out every day this week.  It is nice to feel normal again.  Tomorrow I have a test that the cardiologist ordered.

Also I have an appointment for Dish TV to come and look at my system.  I keep getting error messages and it was saying dont call them as they were aware of the problem.  Well yesterday, I had had it with getting these messages on a regular basis and called only to find out there is something wrong with my system.  Boy, am I glad I called!  Hopefully they can get it fixed as it is all my local channels that go out so, forge****ching the news, CBS, NBC, or ABC programming.  That is what I watch the most.

Well, I think I am going to head to bed.  I might make it by 1:00 am instead of 4am which I have a habit of staying up until.

Everyone have a great weekend!

Good Morning to everyone.

It is really nice to see an early morning posting of the Illinois board. I went to bed earlier then usual ( before 12), or I would of joined your party too.

One more week of our summer program to go, at work,  then I am free for another month. We will be back full time on September 1.

This weekend is all about cleaning again. I will admit, what I finished last weekend looks great. Yes Nancy, I plan to take a lot of time for myself this weekend.

we are suppose to get our  DDs cat to babysit this weekend, so they can go on a small vacation. they aren't sure if they can go now, since their youngest furbaby is ill. And they found out yesterday, our GD has to have a biopsy. She has a gray area in her lymp nodes and they don't know when they wll be able to have it done. We are all waiting to hear from the Dr.

Keep a smile on your face today, and stay safe.

Hugs, LISA

Good morning everyone...I have a goal for the day LOL...no poops since surgery and I am wondering if that is contributing to my pain. I have been taking a stool softner with the pain pills but alas...no luck...
A friend from work is coming by and we are going to go for a walk. I don't really wanna go alone at this point....
Nothing planned for the weekend for me....just recovering slowly one day at a time.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Good morning!  Maddie and I are headed to Chicago for the day.  My sister-in law is staying down town for a conference, so we are going to meet up w/ her at the Four Seasons and then go shopping.  We are going to hit the American Girl store and bum around.  Then she is staying until Sun.  Sunday Maddie and I are running a race in Algonquin.  This will me Maddie's first race.  I've been a lurker lately, I'll try and change that:)  I hope everyone enjoys their Friday and be safe this weekend!

Good morning Eileen and the rest of Illinois!

I am working this morning, taking Liv to the museum, picking up a few last minute things at the store, then the kids, then home to get the parade route marked and help with things at the dinner.

Tomorrow is the "BIG day" and it looks like it will be a lot of fun.  I am SO looking forward to seeing you Eileen, and your family along with whomever else can make it.  We have lots of room and food and my brother is even coming in from Chicago with a couple of other friends.  It will be a very busy and LOOOONNNNGGGGG day and night, but I will take a nap on Sunday after everyone leaves.

I wish everyone a fantastic day and weekend as I may not get back to check in tomorrow or Sunday.......

Tell someone that you love them!

Building shut the power off for the day on Tuesday to connect a new HVAC system.

Had my last Nut and doc visit that day.  Down 65 pounds for the 11 months/ 12 visits.  About 12.8 percent of body weight.

Busy, busy Wednesday and Thursday.  Had sleep to catch up on so Wednesday started at noon.  Thursday started at 5:30 am and today at 6:30 am.

 Hi everyone,
Well, I had planned to get up and go today since I felt so good yesterday, but had first poop in two weeks , and was soooo sick. So went back to bed. IT was not fun ! but at lest I'm somewhat back to normal. So now need to get things done so I can go back to work next week.
It's getting easier to count protein, and bought some lemons yesterday for my water since nothing tastes good right now from ketosis.
Weekend plans are to walk and get back into the routine.
Have a good weekend All,

Same days it doesn't pay to chew the restraints off...
