Time to GET MOVING!!!!
The Rockford Group last night was very good. We had a nurse/bariatric coordinator visit and she was very helpful. THANK YOU Maria! We had two newbies---Rhonda's surgery is in a week and Tammy was just approved!!!! Yeah! We will keep them in our thoughts as they get closer to the losing side.
I am working today and Liv is going to work at themuseum this afternoon. She has her first game of the end of season tournament tonight. I have "chicken Adobo" in the crock pot so all is good.
We have a few last minute things to finish up before the big festival on Saturday. I am looking forward to Eileen's face creations, the picture that I have seen are awesome! It looks like the weather will be nice instead of the usual HOT. It should be a great day.

Good morning!
Where is everyone? WOW! Another beautiful day in the neighborhood. Off to run errands and take the kids to the park before Noah has a therapy apt this afternoon.
We are trying to keep busy here, and doing well so far. Looking forward to this weekend and Day at Rock City. We are also are going dowtown to see the Disney train that is coming in to promote the Christmas Carol movie that is coming out in Nov. It is a FREE exhibit ( my favorite kind) to see how they made the movie and at the end you get to see previews of the movie. I think it should be good, Jim Carey is scrooge! Love downtown, so we will make a day of it and go to Buckingham fountain and the lakefront and maybe Navy Pier etc... that will be either Fri or Sun. A busy weekend for us! Hurray!
Went shopping last night and got lots of goodies for a healthy eating week, and going to make some peach protein ice cream today, thanks Nancy for the idea!

It sounds like things are hopping for everyone. Dawn, I am so sorry that I cant come to A Day in Rock City. I don't have official driving privileges yet and that is a long distance to try this early out from surgery,. I really wanted to come too. Sniff, sniff.
I was so proud of myself yesterday. After my outpatient physical therapy evaluation I went to K Mart and I did NOT use a motorized cart. I actually walked around in the store! That is a huge first for me. I haven't been able to do that for about 4 years. I was really excited!
