How long did approval take?

I am at that wonderful point where I have submitted everything, jumped through all the hoops and am plowing forward, but waiting (not so patiently) to hear back from BCBS IL.  How long did it take you to hear from your insurance?

6 years ago it took me less than 2 weeks before getting my approval letter.

I have BCBS of IL PPO.  Once everything was submitted and accepted, I heard in just over a week.

Thank you for your replies.  It's been a long road and it seems like the end is in sight.  It's encouraging to hear that it may not take that long.

Only took about a week and half for me too. I,m 4 days out now. recovering slowly.

It took less then 2 weeks to get approved and I was scheduled in less than 4 because I wanted to get it done right away! I have BC/BS PPO of illinois also and they are covering my Panni on Monday :)

I have BCBSIL....what are you required to pay? 90%

From the day IPA / Kid Care recieved the notice it tok 10 days for the Approval. IPA is really quick!
