Cool experience today
Hey all I went to have my yearly mammogram done today (everything is fine) and the tech doing mine had GB surgery 2 years ago! She lost 90 pounds and is off all her diabetes medicines! She looked great too! I just thought i was cool to meet someone in the medical field that had the surgery. She was so excited talking to me about it, it was very nice to hear her say she is glad she did it!
It is reassuring to find people in the medical field that have done this. My doctor's office manager had it done and it was amazing to watch her shrink! I talked to her a long time when I was deciding to have my surgery. I think that you will find that the majority of us would do this again in a heartbeat. I have never had a moment of regret! I am so glad I did this. Just wish I had done it sooner.
The next month will pass quickly for you. Focus on your goal of surgery and use this time to get things set up around the house and prepare your supplies for measuring and get small containers. Also it is a good time to read up on the procedure. One book I found helpful and used almost as my bible was written by a weight loss surgeon. It is called "Weight Loss Surgery, A lighter Look at a Heavier Subject" I got it off of Amazon. It was easy to read and very informative.
This is an amazing ride so fasten your seat belt and be prepared for some wonderful changes.
