Tuesdays Roll Call

Good morning!

Lisa,  I did not get the SECRET message on facebook either?  What was it all about?  Why is it secret?  Hmmmm.

Yesterday I actually got out and rode my bike for the first time in yrs with Brigid in the trailer.  SHe loved it, and I did ok, but boy am I out of shape!  My heart was pounding and my legs were a burnin'!  Feels good to have tried and made it!  Next ride isnt going to be as far, gotta start out a little shorter ride.  We had a great time so that is all that matters!  We rode to a friends house and visited and rested then rode home.  Never knew my neighborhood was so hilly!  All Brig kept saying was  " watch out for the bumps, mama, and dont break your neck!" 

Today is my apt with the urogynecologist.  I sure hope he has some answers for me.  It is really frustrating to now know what the heck is going on. 

Noah is still in the hospital and I am hoping he is ready to come home this week sometime.  I miss him but I want him to be ready to come home, not just take him home cause I miss him.  It sounds like he is making some progress so we will see tomorrow when I have a staffing meeting in the morning for him and some family therapy.  Boy, I sure wish I had an answer to his problems too.

Boy when you read this, we are a sad group over here.  But we are trying to get our acts in order.  This weekend is my dad's block party so I hope Noah is able to go with us.  I am going to be facepainting for them, so more victims for me to practice all my new faces on!  Then the next weekend is Day in Rock City, where I am going to facepaint for Dawn, then the next weekend I am going to do another block party for someone who saw me on St Paddy's day and hired me to do their party.  I am off and running!  Hopefully I can continue to keep my facepainting career going!  It is alot of fun,  I love to see the kids faces when they are all painted up!

Good Morning Lisa and everyone else.
Eileen I hope your appointment goes well. I to have to go to a urologist and see why I am having problems.
I got home last night around midnight. We were going to stay in Montgomery Alabama for 2 nights but decided to come home sooner cause It was raining very badly so we decided to just get on the highway and come home.
I put over 10,000 miles on the car... Traveling for 10 weeks is to much. I will do it again but not for that long.
Not sure when my daughter is getting married. But I think next summer. So I guess I need to go back to work and save some money. Weddings arent cheap!!!!!
I gained 15 pounds while being gone. The chicago food got to me big time!!!!!
I also think the prednisone I had to be on for 5 days took a tole on me too. So I decided to do the medifast program to get the weight off.
Well off to unload the car.

 got the message to join the "secret" face book group. I have requested to join....I do seem to be on face book alot these days because I can talk to all my neices and nephews and other family members when ever. I was at first concerned about the face book group of OH'ers because no one in my family knows about my surgery, but since its sercret I did join... As of date though I have not gotten my invite to join the club. I did PM the girl from NJ that I am intreseted..she has my email to send me the invite to join.

A normal day of playing with the grandkiddies today...Going for a 8 mile bike ride though after 6...
