GOOD MORNING ILLINOIS!!!

Its sunny and bright this morning, For everyone driving east this morning, wear your shades, you are going to need them. That includes me.

Nothing special happened yesderday. Just  normal Sunday chores. I was able to get thefront and side sidewalk edged. And our handyman will get the bushes done this week sometimes.

Today is work, then home. Its a normal weekday.

Good Morning..

Yesterday was pretty much a lazy day for me.  I needed it.  Today is work.. then I have to hit the pavement and see if I can find a job waiting tables for breakfast or lunch.  I'm still at Outback but things are slow.
Working out w/ our trainer tonight.

That's about it.  Nothing exciting.

Good morning Lisa and the rest of Illinois!

I am back at work after a fun weekend, but sad too.

Amber and I had a great time with good friends in Chicago on Saturday and had a nice brunch yesterday.  We are looking forward to taking the girls in for the zoo and beach on Friday/Saturday of this week.

The sad part happened later yesterday evening when one of the same good friends' mother passed away.  I wish we could have still been there to give her a big hug, but I spoke with her on the phone to give what support I could.

The boys got off to Scout camp and the house was quiet last night without them.  Liv and I watched a movie together.

I have to go to the library today, a "Day in Rock City" meeting tomorrow, Family Night at camp Wednesday, Liv works Thursday, then back into the city on Friday.  My week is pretty full.

It is great to see the new posters and an old friend (Christine)!

What a beautiful morning it is! Had a busy weekend...Saturday went to a concert in Tinley Park...yesterday a concert in Frankfort plus did a few errands. Had to take my vacuum in for repairs. Hopefully I'll get it back soon. Today it's a concert in Lockport and laundry. Not much else on the agenda.

Morning,

Today is my day to get all my chores done.  Laundry is already started and the last load is in the washer.  I repaired a broken chair, and now I have some wicker to paint.  Yesterday I was at an auction, then when we got home we mowed and trimmed some tree branches.  So nothing exciting just busy work.  Maybe if I hurry up and get all my work done I can take the 3 year old to the pool.  He is part fish, loves the water!  That is all that I have planned.  Enjoy your day everyone.

Good morning Lisa and Illinois!

Sounds like everyone had a nice weekend.  We did too.  I spent Saturday afternoon with my mother and sister at a scrapbooking party at Archivers.  Sooo fun to have time to concentrate on my project without having to help my 6 year old every litle while.  

I started back at work last week, just desk duty for 6 weeks until my knee is stronger.  It's good to be back, but I'm missing all the time at home. 

Emily and I are completing work book pages this am, so she doesn't forget everything she learned in kindergarten.  We'll be going to the park soon and maybe the pool later.

Good morning!

I finally made it here in the morning!  (By the skin of my teeth!)

We had a good weekend.  It is really hard with Noah still being in the hospital to really get myself interested in doing things.  I feel guilty that he is there and we are doing things without him.  I know, I know, he needs to be there, and he needs to do the work to get out, but the mom in me never stops missing him and wanting him home.

Saturday, Jeff and I took Brigid to the pool for the afternoon, she had a blast and it was a beautiful day.  Then Sat night was our church picnic on the church grounds and since it was a beautiful night we decided to do.  Again Brig had a great time, food was good, and the music was great!  It was a band made of up alot our our parishoners and friends and they were great.  It was a nice night to be out.  SUnday was a waste of a day for me, although I did clean the family room and put all the laundry away I have been avoinding for a long time.  I am really in a funk.

Then there is this health issue that I still have, and I called to get an apt with a urogynecologist ( as reccommended by Dr Wallace on Friday).  A Urogyne is a urologist that specializes in women.  No one can figure out what is wrong, maybe I should just live with it and forget about it.  It is very frustrating.  The first apt I can get is Aug 6th!  So I took the apt, but what am I to do til then?  I have a call into my primary care dr to see what he says.  I feel like I am getting the run around. Maybe the all think Im crazy.  Maybe I am.

I am looking forward to the ABMC support group on the 25th and I hope I can squeeze a meeting in before heading out to Dawn's for a Day at Rock City.  Ill have to see what time we are going to Rock city. 

Well, enough moaning about my problems, I hope everyone has a HAPPY MONDAY!

I hope you can get an answer from a doctor soon about the urgency issue with your bladder.  It DOES sound like overactive bladder, so maybe suggest it to them.

NOOOOOO!!!!!  you do NOT have to live with it.  You deserve to be healthy like everyone else.
Keep at them until someone gives.

I am keeping you, Noah and your family in my thoughts and prayers for better days soon.

I was able to get an apt with the specialist for tomorrow, Tuesday at 3pm, thanks to my primary  care physicians office calling them and them having a last min cancellation!  Thank goodness.

 I am so glad that you were able to get in earlier.  It is amazing the strings that doctors pull with each other.  My surgeon called my cardiologist and squeezed in an appointment before my knee surgery after I had to cancel my surgery due to my PCP not giving me clearance.  It is amazing how appointments open up and "cancellations" occur.  I hope you get some answers at your appointment today.
