Sunday Roll Call

In the car right now on my way up to the CUB/ Cards game.... The make up game from  May when it was rained out. Other then that not much going on. I am going to Dr Rosens reuion next Thursday though. Then from there we have birthdays  lots of them.. One the 22nd, two on the 27th one on gthe 31st then the last one is Aug 1st....Had my 32nd wedding anniversary on the 7th and DH was home the weekend before..I took him out to eat....He went and bought a new car ...like when wioll he drive it....He got a Mustang Gt...I call it his mid-life crises toy...At least its a cold toy not a warm one....LOL

Good morning Karen, ya beat me by 8 seconds. That is ok, I deleted mine. Al least you  got the roll  call started.

today's plans for me are going to get a roast for dinner, stop at the $ tree, and at Fashion Bug. I need to get a short sleeved blouse that I can wear with tank tops, so I can wear them to work. That way, I have more choices for what to wear.

Yesterday, I went to the Sugar Creek Arts Festival in Bloomington with my DD and SIL. I am still amazed at how much I can walk without getting worn out.

Have a good time at the baseball game. Its suppose to be a great day.

I also want to get out and do some weeding and trimming.

Well I am at home this eearly afternoon instead of at Willow.  My sleep is still messed up from when it got messed up by the vertigo med making me sleepy.

My weight is still yoyoing in the 436-441 area.  436 this morning.  I am planning on fasting this wed to the following tuesday.  It will be a good time for me to spend in some extra prayer for myself as I wind up this part of the road and for all of the others who are on our  path.  One of the imputus for me to go aslong this path is how I feel about folks without enough to eat and how I have way to much available even when it is not the stuff that is good for me.  The whole problem of places in the world with too much and those with too little is such a quandry to me.  It seems that right now the problem of not enough clean water is one that could be solved but it has been on the UN board for a long time.  Peace Corp too.  Amazing it is not a done deal.

Been here and lurking for more than 2 months because of our water issues and the need to be doing the yard work now because we have been doing our own yard work since late April. Sorry, I will be scarse for a while longer and really cannot say when I will be back on a regular basis. See my response to Randy on my message for LWB reunion post as it gives more details.

Just got back from Itasca Fest and Dave and I are telling each other that we are getting old because in the past we would usually be at the fest all night or day of the whole four days. We left yesterday at about 4pm and today at about 3pm. We did totally plan our food choices and shared great protein items; one each day. By the way Itasca Fest has a really cool classic car show on Sunday's each year and this year I think that they had close to 100 classic cars.  Good Sunday Afternoon!

I am really late checking in.  My sister came to visit with my 2 great nieces today!  We had a great visit and went out to eat for lunch.  The girls love my cats so they enjoy coming to my house.  The cats are pretty tolerant of them but relieved to see them go.  They are sound asleep lol.  

Not much else going on.  Had a nice visit with a neighbor this morning before my sister arrived.
