Thursday Roll Call

Good morning Illinois!

Randy, glad to see that things are moving in the right direction for you.  Maybe you will be on the "loser's bench" before the end of the quarter.  I will be keeping my fingers crossed.

I am especially thinking of Monica and her niece also.

Liv's clinic was cancelled last night, but David had to umpire.  I made the Mango/Black bean salad again since it was so good on Monday.  Paired with chicken breats cooked with garlic, shallots, chili powder and cumin, it was awesome!

Tonight is "family night" at camp if it is not raining, and Liv has a game.  We will "divide and conquer".

Last night, we found out that the daughter of our friend that was murdered a few months ago is having a very hard time.  Stepmother issues.  Todd had promised his friend that he would take care of this daughter, so who knows, we may wind up with another kid in our home.  She is MORE than welcome if that is what is needed.  Say a little prayer or send good mojo to her/us please.

I am looking forward to spending the weekend with Amber, just her and I.....going to a party in the city, but still, just the two of us.

good  morning Dawn, and All of Illinois. my houghts are with Monica and her family this morning. Our neighbors daughter had the same thing happen, and she has gone on to have 2 more children since.

I am at work this mrning also. I was able to get in early to get things ready, and we don't have a hugh crowd, yet.

Otherthen that, I have a couple of errands to run after work today, then I am off for the weekend.

Good morning Dawn and Illinois!

My heart goes out to Monica's neice. It is heartbreaking to lose a child. I've lost and so has my daughter. No one should ever have to bury a child. I pray that Monica can be strong for her.

Not much on the agenda today. I'll start cleaning soon then the gym tonight. I really need to get a part time job....

I am looking forward to a good day today, including a little knitting with friends. There were about ten of us there yesterday and a lot of laughter! Guess I should post some pictures of all the projects!

While I love being at home most of the time and also love the work I do repairing scooters, power chairs and lift chairs I often am envious of those of you who daily get up and go to work.  What I do right now is good for me with the disabilities I have caused by obesity.  Still it is frustrating not to have a regular income except for Cheryl's.  So many of you have had car troubles recently and of course that is part of life.  We have the one car and without regular income I cannot justify nor could I pay for a second car.  Catch 22, no second car/no second income/no regular job search.  So the disability folks want to kick me out of their system even though and even because they are spending no money on me.
