Good morning Illinois friends!

Working today, then theater group tonight while David umps a game.  Tomorrow, Amber & I are heading into Chi-Town for a party.

It is rainy and gloomy here, but I hear that it is going to warm up a bit.

Good Luck to those that are having surgery this next week. You will be find and wonder why you were so worried before hand.

Dawn, enjoy yourself with Amber this weekend in Chicago. You are always so busy, its nice that you will have a weekend for yourself.

I have no plans for today except to clean up the house a bit. Dh is off today too, so that could change.  Tomorrow, my friend Jean and I are going to Bloomington/ normal to atend a outdoor art show. I am looking forward to it.
Last year at one I found some copper earrings that I love.

I need to get started on the household chores, I am hoping to get some pictures of our trip  online today. I am really going to try.

Not much on my agenda today....need to vacuum the window screens again when I'm vacuuming the house. I've also got to see if Ava is feeling better so she can have her sleepover. If not we'll try for next week.

Morning everyone,

I hope that all of you enjoy the plans that you have for this weekend.  I really have no plans but I am sure that there will be plenty to keep me busy around here.  I am off to work and hoping that the rain that is expected goes north or south or maybe even east of us.  We have already had plenty this week. 

Next Saturday I will be busy.  I have been scheduled to attend a wls seminar that is going on with my potential surgeon.  This is mandatory for them to accept you as a patient.  So hopefully I am on my way.

I am also waiting for my homegrown tomatoes to get here so I can enjoy them!

It sure does not look like a high eighties day at this time.

As far as nerves go I get a big case every morning going to the scale, every nut/doc appointment.  Major nerves before surgeon appt, cardio appt and psych appt.

It is a really rainy, stormy day here.  Glad I don't have to go outside!  Yesterday was a great day for me.  I went to WalMart so I got out of the house   Can you believe being excited to go to Walmart?    But what was really good was how easily I could walk into the store and unload groceries when I got home.  I love my new knee!

My surgeon's appointment went great!  I am where I should be at six weeks out and I am only 3 weeks out.  They are really pleased and so am I.  My new knee makes me realize just how bad my knees were because my left knee is awful.  We are going to talk about having it done at my 6 week appointment.  I am not sure I have enough FMLA available.  Will have to talk to work.  

No exciting plans for today or the weekend.  My physical therapist has already been here and had me doing double the amount of exercises today in one sitting.  Slave driver!

I am SOOOO glad to hear how well you are doing.  I know how nervous you were about this and I am glad that you are having great results.  Once the other knee is done, there will be no stopping you!

 I am extremely thankful.  I was talking to my physical therapist and he was saying out of all his knee replacement patients me and one other person were exceeding the curve and the rest were really having problems.  He was wondering what the difference was.  Who knows.  I am sure that it helps that my surgeon is ranked in the top 3 of orthopedic surgeons/hospitals in Illinois.

At work today.............ready for the weekend to begin.  I am making a bean salad tonight.for a BBQ tomorrow--that is my Friday night.  Probably throw in a load of laundry to two.  I know...how exciting.  Tomorrow morning I will head to the gym and then get ready to go to the BBQ.  I hope that the weather cooperates  with everyone's plans!

Good evening ILLINOIS! Just got home from a 10 hr shift today. They had a big feed for all the workers, but I did pretty good. Had baked fish, macaroni salad and a piece of cake.....very small piece........but man was it good! Back on the wagon tomorrow though!
