We are back from a nice long weekend in Milwaukee.  The kids had fun and at their ages, it is a good thing to still be able to have fun together.  The boys got to see all the concerts that they wanted to see and Liv and I enjoyed the festival.  We did not get to tour the brewery as the tickets were sold out.  They liked the "Safe House" and we are all sun-kissed.  It did not rain at all up there.

I have a post-prom meeting tonight after dinner.  Besides that, I don't have much else happening today.

Good Morning Dawn and the rest of IL

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend despite the rain on the 4th.  We were supposed to have a baseball tournament this weekend out in Somanauk, but it was cancelled so we had no plans.  It was nice.  I spent a lot of the weekend cleaning and doing homework and just playing around. 

This week will be all about cleaning, cleaning and more cleaning.  See we are having a  party next Sunday for Jacob, Austyn and my great niece Gwen's birthdays and it's here at my house.  It was supposed to be rather small with family only, but now we have at least 40 people coming and I need to get my house in order.  It's a mess and I hate it.  That and I have to finish making Gwen's birthday present.  She LOVES hats and has over 24 of them already, so I am making her a hat holder.  I'll take a picture of it when it's done to show you.  lol

Other than that, we have baseball games tonight and Thursday night.  and lots of homework to get done too!

The wedding was very nice  but glad it is all over with  now,

Good morning Dawn and Illinois!

Made it home safely...got three loads of laundry already done.
Have to pick up Bella after noon today. I can't wait to see her. Hopefully she's not to unhappy with us. I did buy her a couple of new toys. We had a blast on the 4th of July. Happy to be home but unhappy about leaving West Virginia and all the grandkids behind. My daughter will be staying there for a few more days.

Not much more on the agenda today. After I pick up Bella I plan on playing with her the rest of the day.

Good Morning -

Not too much going on today.  Need to clean our bedroom and the bathrooms.  Work out at 7:30.  Calvin and I had a fantastic weekend.  Spent the weekend at Starved Rock.  I wish the weather had been nicer but we still had a nice time.

Weight loss was funny this weekend.  Just something about being out and about that made my water weight fluctuate upward and now I am back to where I started on Thursday.

Middle of the day on the fourth our power went out.  Apparently during the rain someone hit a pole that was important.  Came back on after about an hour.  While it was off we were out on the balcony and our next door neighbor who does not have a balcony came to the window.  I told him my laptops hard drive was going out.  He had an eighty gig that he gave me gratis and loaned me a dongle to USB my old one to get the data off of it.  So I am on my way to the laptop getting back to a normal state.  I could not figure out how to get back to my old user on the other drive even though the I got most of the files over.  Hopefully I will load Office in the new one and that will take care of all of my files and then I will need an app for pictures.

 Good Afternoon Illinois Friends!

I have become quite the nite owl.  I am going to have a terrible time getting my schedule back on track for work.  But right now I am loving it.  Something sinful about staying up late and sleeping in in the mornings.   

Not much happening here.  Christina you and Calvin were just 7 miles from me over the weekend.  Had I know you were coming this way, I would have asked you over!

I did find out that I have a new great nephew on the way!  His older sister and brother called to tell me.  It was really cute when the 2 year old got on the phone and started telling me all about it.  I really think he gets it that he is going to have a brother.  I just pity my niece because Benton is ALL boy and I cant imagine 2 of them.  I would be tearing my hair out and be scared to death of their antics.  Glad it is not me.  We did not have boys in our family so this is a new experience for us.

I know all about getting my days all screwed up.  I stay up late, get up w/ Calvin around 5:30 but as soon as he leaves I usually sleep another couple hours.  It's bad.  I don't know how I'll handle have a normal job some day.

Good Afternoon!

I am at work today.  Had to work on Friday, as well.  We did get out early though.  The 4th weekend was a lot of fun.  Did some errands on Sunday because since I came back from vacation-I hadn't had the chance.  Do have a lot of cleaning to do,,,but I just didn't get to it yesterday.  Oh well...another day, I guess.

Yesterday I went to Kohl's to buy a pair of capris for a BBQ this coming Saturday.  All the ones that I have now are falling off my bottom.  I was happy to see that I was down quit a few sizes!  Yeah me!  =)

After work I will head on over to the fitness center to workout.
