Happy 4th of July Roll Call
Good Morning Carol and All,
Will we have a beautiful clear and sunny day, or one filled with liquid sunshine? Whatever happens, have a great and safe 4th.
Carol, you are right. Without our young men and women fighting for our rights, we wouldn't be who we are today. Please stop your celebrating for a monment today to pray for all of them that are ready to lay thier lives on the line for us.
We will be going to a bbq at our youngest daughters home in Yorkville today. We will leave after DH gets home from wor****il then, I will be working on the scrapbook of Alaska, so the family can see some of the pictures we took.

Good morning Carol and the rest of Illinois from Milwaukee!
We got here yesterday evening and the boys went to Summerfest while Liv and I relaxed in the room. She was pretty worn out from her week at camp.
They are still sleeping but I came down to check a couple of things and to check in with you all.
We will be doing a brewery tour and maybe take the kids to the "safe house" before heading to the festival grounds.
Tomorrow, the festival is saluting the military all day with music and demonstrations. We will be there for that.

My body is mad at me for all the fun I had at the racetrack and fireworks last night.
The scales say I have gained five pounds in a day.
No way. I was good and only ate what I took with me. Water, slinfast, 2 slices of ham and two string cheese sticks.
This too shall pass.

I t is a rainy day here but that is ok. I hope it clears by evening so that those who are going to the fireworks can enjoy the evening. My understanding is the rain will be out of here later today.
