Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Good morning!

This is my first day of retirement. What's the plan? Go out to breakfast (which I do every Wednesday), knit, nap, knit. Hmm. Sounds like a plan. I'll let you know how it goes.

Have a great, cool day!

Congrats on the retirement.

Time to have fun.

I have to work today. My one day this week. Summers are nice. I work one or 2 days a week and collect unemployment.

Its rough. The fish in the lake by my house are getting fat, because I am feeding them about everyday.  I don't ever keep the fish, but I enjoy feeding them and laying in the sun.

I am actually cold today.

Who would of thought losing about 200lbs would make you cold when it is 60 out?

Anyway, hope all is good for everyone else.

Start Wt.:485
Surgical Date: 12/10/08 Open RNY
Goal Wt: 275

Good Morning -

Just another day for me.  Not too much on the agenda other then working.  I had my foot doc appointment yesterday.  I was released from my surgery but now have pain in the heal of my foot and he thinks it's from working out.  It's been bothering me for five weeks which is when I started my training.  So, I have some new exercises from the foot doc that I have to do four times a day and ice it down in between.  So I guess that will take up any free time I did have.  I will go back in three weeks to see him.  In the mean time, no walking or running on the treadmill.  I swear it is always something.

Calvin and I have picked out a house to rent in NC the third week in September.  We are very excited about getting away and our upcoming vacation.  We usually rent the same house and are typically gone this week but pushed it back due to his demanding job.  The rates are so much cheaper in September so you can get a lot for your money.  Six bedrooms, 4 full baths, rec room, pool, on a golf course, sleeps 16.  Of course, it's hurricane weather.
Don't know who will be joining us but the doors will be open.  I'm guessing the usual minus a few kids since school will be back in.  (which is fine w/ me)

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!

We vacation in the Outerbanks.  NagsHead, Kill Devil Hill, Duck area.  We fly into Norfolk, VA and it's about 1 1/2hrs from there.  It's a beatiful area and a place we hope to be able to live some day.

Good morning!

Congrats on the retirement, Connie.

Well, for me, I can say the summer kicks our family schedule into overdrive and I am on the boards here less and less. I will try and check in more often.

The kids and I are staying home today, trying to potty-train our younger son during the morning. Aaargh. An exercise in frustration with the promise of a BIG payoff down the line.

I worked out hard yesterday so I am taking it easy today. I am trying to set a summer workout schedule, but fun activities (like zoo and beach outings) keep getting in the way!

We have some out-of-town guests staying with us soon, so I am trying to whip our home into shape as well, Janet. Family, so they'll just have to overlook any disorganization or less than perfect stuff!

Have a great day, guys!

Good morning Janet and the rest of Illinois!

Good luck on the house cleaning.....Todd had said that we were going to start mega-cleaning this week with Liv's room while she is away, but not a sock has been picked up.  Our whole house needs a good "spring clean" but we always seem to have something else to do.  Oh well, we keep it presentable (well the kids don't....) and I guess that is going to have to be good enough.

After work today I need to get the last of the mulch put down in a couple of my flower beds then not much else.

I am not sure what we are doing for the weekend and it is a bit irritating.  Todd wanted to go to Summerfest, but is dragging his heels on making the arrangements.  He was actually wanting to go tomorrow night and he STILL hasn't made a decision!  MEN!!!!!  I will keep trying to get an answer.

I had "A Day in Rock City" meeting last night and things seem to be in order.  I am glad and am looking forward to a great day.

Not much else is happening.

Hope everyone has a spectacular day!

Good Morning Janet and the whole of Illinois.

Connie, enjoy your retirement.

Janet and Nicole, have fun with housecleaning and family visits.

Dawn, I think all men are alike in that way. I also know with 2 teens you are always going nuts, with thier schudules.

Yesterday, I did get to Walmart, and clean up a few roooms, so today, I want to finish picking up the house, work on a quilt I want to do this summer, a nine patch. I need to get outside and do some weeding and grass killing (I guess I need to go get some roundup for that) and a bunch of other stuff that needs to be done. Now, I am not saying everything will get done, but I want to get some of it done.

Anyway, its a normal week. I will be back at work for the next 3 weeks, then off again for a month.

Stay safe,

Hugs

LISA

Good Morning ILLINOIS! I just got home from a 13 hr. night shift, so won't be on long, but just wanted to check in. Although I have been a member for several years, this is actually my first roll call. I live in a small town in So. IL and was banded in 2003.. I have lost a total of 115 so far and still 50 to go.
Today my inlaws are coming in from Mississippi!
I need to tidy up the house a little, then I am going to the "Trish" room for some ME time. I am going to do my normal 2 miles on the treadmill, then relax in my tanning bed for 20 glorious minutes!
Haven't eaten yet, but getting ready to scramble 2 eggs and see if I can get them down. Usually it's only about an egg and a half that makes it before I get full. But, hey, that's a good thing!!
Hope you all have a wonderful day.
Trish
