Peoria Surgical Group or Dr Jay Salimath...

has anyone here had VSG surgery with them. If so could you share your experiance with them.

I just had VSG surgery with Dr. Salimath on 6/30/09.  Did a lot of research and heard nothing but good things about him.  He is wonderful and very compassionate.  Feel free to send me a message if you have any questions.

Hi. I just got my info packet and will be using the Peoria Group also.  Tried to make it to the informational meeting tonight but was not feeling the greatest.  I did call their office today and spoke to Mary (I think that was her name) and she gave me as much time as I needed to ask my questions.  They seemed very friendly and concerned for you.  Congrats on your surgery!

I had my DS with PSG this past Friday.  I adore them there.  They are very comprehensive with support groups, exercise guildance, nutrition guidance, VERY helpful with the insurance approval...all I did was get my PCP to fax some info to them and to the insurance company and they went to bat for me.  Approval first time around. 

I didn't have VSG but RNY with Dr Marshall at Peoria Surgical Group! Great group of docs!
