Monday Roll Call
Good Morning IL!
Wake up, Wake up all you sleepy heads. Hope you all were able to get out and enjoy the wonderful weather we had this weekend. Calvin and I went to Chicago w/ the intentions of going to the "Taste of Chicago" but stopped at Navy Pier first and had such a great time we never made it to the taste. It was such a lovely day and spending it together was just wonderful. Our schedules are so busy we pretty much just see each other in passing so it was extra special to be able to do something fun yesterday.
Tonight we work out w/ our trainer. This is going on week five and it has been one of the best things we could have done. I'm so glad we found our trainer. He is great. No too much else going on. Just working.

I had a busy but uneventful weekend. I missed church because my DD had a performance last night. This week is busy with work.

Good morning Christina and Everyone.
This starts my last week of vacation for the month of July.I go back to work next monday, until August 1. Then another 4 weeks until I will be back almost full time. Nothing I had planned to do this month happened, except our vacation.
Today, I have a Dr. appointment with Dr. Guskie, other errands to run, pick up our mail from last week and go to the cleaners.
Yesterday, I did manage to get my laundry washed and dried,but not put away yet. Get to a wedding shower and squeezed in about a one mile walk.
We are back to our normal crazy life.

Glad to hear that you and Calvin had some together time. I understand the "just in passing" as it is like that at my house a lot also. It doesn't matter WHAT you do as long as you get a chance to do it together.
We had a nice weekend. Friday night, we went out to dinner with my MIL & FIL and had a nice time. Usually, when we want to have dinner with them, the whole dam family winds up coming and there are almost 20 of them! When that happens, you really don't get to spend an quality time with any of them. It was good for my kids to spend a nice time with their grandparents. The grandparents were shocked at how big and mature their grandkids are.
Saturday Liv had a softball game and David and I went to Wally World and did a few things around the house. Yesterday was the day I took Liv out to camp and then the boys made dinner in my new cast iron dutch oven. We ate out on the porch and it was very nice.
Todd wants to clean Liv's room while she is away. We will see if it actually gets done.
I was very happy to see a post from another of the great ladies that we met at the conference. She is hoping for approval on Wednesday, so everyone keep "Turkishkitten" in your thoughts.
Also very gald to see two more approvals (Heather and Melissa)! The loser's bench is getting bigger, but we have room for everyone!

Good Morning to all my IL friends!
I have been up since 6am, but just not getting around to sitting at the puter! Tyler had to be at school for football camp at 6:45am then I came home and took the dogs out for a 1.8 mile walk, came home and packaged up some books I need to mail and took a shower. Then I had to run a first morning urine sample of Tyler's to the Dr's office and now I am home!
I will have to pick up Tyler here shortly though! lol then at 2pm I have to go have bloodwork done to check iron levels some other stuff to see if they know why I am bruising so easily. Tyler has a ball game tonight too! In between all of that I want to get some blinds down and washed and start to tackle this dirty house one room at a time! We are having a big birthday party for Jacob, Austyn and Gwen (my great niece) on July 12th and I want the house to look and smell good! Gotta start now though cuz I want to do a very thourough job!
That's it for me, but it's enough too!
