Are there any WLS Support Groups in the Joliet/Plainfield Area?

Hi, My name is Laura. I'm 50 years old and having my RYN on July 9th!

I'm going to the University of Illinois Chicago Medical Center for my surgery with Dr. Vitello. They have a support group which meets once a month. I live 60 miles away.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any other meetings held in the far Southwest Suburbs around Joliet , Shorewood,  Plainfield etc?

Does anyone want to start one?

There is one at Silver Cross in Joliet. Carol, goes there so she should be able to answer you. She is the one that started the Sunday roll call this morning.
