Wake up sleepyheads! What a beautiful morning God has given us....the sun is shining...the wind is blowing.....awesome!!!!!!
I'm looking forward to going to the Frankfort concert tonight. Ava will have a sleepover at grandma's house after we get back from WV. Not much else on the agenda today. What about you?

Good Morning Carol and all the other Sleepy Heads.
Can you believe? This is the first sun we have seen in over a week. The Alaskans say that if the mountains are clear, meaning no clouds or fog, it is a clear day. The trip was awesome.The DGD was great. We all had a good time and came back with wonderful memories and a bit of money!
food wise, there were no problems, they had at least one baked or broiled meat each day, lots of fruit or veggies to choose from, even lox and bagels.They even had at least one vegetarian dish at each meal. We stayed with the buffets and the main dining rooms. I will admit, I did have 3 drinks over the week. Yes, Dawn, Janet and Monica, I do drink on occasion, but not much. And at the prices on the ship, you don't want to drink much.
Paul, u r excused from not coming to the Chicago event Galena is always nice to go to. I want to see the pictures of the pens also.
Dave, you are coming along great. you are doing a fantastic job on yourself.
Nancy, I am so glad you are ok.
Carol, when do you leave on vacation ?
I have laundry to do, I should go to the store, a shower to go to, and dinner to make. I do want to download my pictures too.

Hi All,
I am in Ohio. I surprized a friend of mine from the Ovr 50 bord. I pulled in her driveway and she was getting in her car to go somwhere. I called her on the cell phon and said look behind you ad there I was.
She was so excited.
I also have a surprize. My daughter is getting proposed to sometime this weekend. Her boyfriend called me to ask me if he could marry our daughter. I said go for It!!!!!!!
So I am waiting for the word.
I am leaing hio ealy in th morning as I have a 4 hr drive back to Chicago. I have to be at Midway at 100pm to pick up myhusband.....
We will be going to Upper Michigan for a week on Thusday.....I can wait. I love the upper Pinuncela.

What fun to go to Ohio to visit someone on the spur of the moment! I am sure you had a great time. Also, congrats to your daughter! So exciting! I hope they will be very happy. It is nice to hear that her soon to be fiance still has the values of calling the parents and asking for their daughters hands. He sounds like an outstanding man. May they have many years of happiness together! Have fun in the upper peninsula. It is so pretty!

It is a beautiful day outside! I op end a window and in and instant I had 2 cats in it. So I turned off the air conditioner and opened all the windows. It is delightful to have fresh air! And at decent temps!
No special plans for today other than to read my papers and maybe do a nap and my exercises. Such a life of leisure. I wont want to go back to work!

Hi Nancy-I've had my windows open since Friday afternoon. I took the dog out for a walk and thought the breeze felt good, came in and turned off the air. I love having the windows open and the fresh air drifting in.
I love being able to hear the birds sing. Glad to see you are recovering nicely.

Good Morning to all my IL friends!
I just got up about an hour ago, but that's only because I could NOT sleep last night at all. I was up til 4am with restless leg (something that hasn't really botherd me since surgery) and just not being able to sleep. It's a beautiful day out today...a little windy for me, but I will not complain today because life is too short to complain about things we cannot control and the things we can...well then do something about it!
I have nothing on the adgenda today at all. Might do some homework, play on FB and Pogo.com. I will go and pick up the boys later from their dad's (well we meet 1/2 way) then home and dinner and then I watch True Blood on HBO (which we got free! woohoo)
Tomorrow starts the grueling football camp for Tyler. Up at 6 am again and have him at school by 7, come home, work out, shower eat and pick him up by 10. I also have to have bloodwork at 2pm tomorrow becuase of my bruising. Then Tyler has a ball game tomorrow night if it doesn't rain! Today, I relax! lol
