Can you say...APPROVED!!! UPDATE: I've got the date!!!

I got home this morning and much to my delight I had a letter for IPA / Kid Care Program stating that I was APPROVED for my RNY!!

Yay! Dr. Siegel's office said I should get my surgery date Monday or Tuesday! This all happened so damn fast! I can't believe it!!

I'm hoping the wait for the surgery isn't too long, I start school in late August and Siegel goes on vacation first 2 weeks of July.

Just wanted to share this with everyone!!! Words can't desribe how excited I am!

That's great news Heather.  Thanks for sharing your special moment.  I know I was jumping out of my skin when I got the call.  It's an amazing journey.  You are so lucky.  You're so young and have young kids to be healthy for.

That is funny, the same thing happened to me on the same day!  I am so excited and NERVOUS!  They are supposed to call me back this afternoon to schedule me.  I can't believe this is actually happening!

It'll come faster then you think... Once they get that surgery approval the tend move... So I dont think it'll be that much longer... Congratulations!!!
